How far in advance do you guys think we should start working on some of the forms? I have the case number, invoice number and all that stuff. Just waiting on the hard copies packet 3 and my NVC letter. Want to get as much as possible in advance.

RECIEVED CASE NUMBER FOR NVC! Although I don't have the NOA2 hard copy yet, I decided to call anyways and I got the information about the case. Super excited! Hope they update the site soon though because I can't get case tracker to work right this moment.

Do they have your address complete/correct in their system? Missing an apartment or unit number? Name spelled correctly?

For all I know, yes, because the NOA1 reached my house successfully and I haven't changed my address. It's a rather simple address and I don't live in an apartment or anything.

Guys I'm really starting to worry now about the NOA2. I called the USCIS and the case checker said it was mailed. Yet still nothing! Case approved on May 21. Last time I called they said wait 30 days, but now I'm tempted to call again because if it was mailed already it shouldn't take this long.

From what I have read you only have to wait just about 2 weeks before it arrives at the NVC. I'm sure your case will arrive soon!! Also I see that you have updated your signature but not your timeline, don't forget to update that as well.

I didn't update it yet because I didn't recieve the paper notice (that is why I called). I guess the day it was approved, May 21, will be the same date on the notice so I will update it.

I feel stupid. I called The USCIS because it had been two weeks since the NOA2 was mailed and didnt know I had to wait 30 days. I accidently told the lady I was the applicant at first as well before correcting myself. She seemed nice but I hope nothing bad is gonna happen with our case now. Damn paranoia! LMAO

Our case was approved same day. IDK if that is uncommon or not but we're happy definitely!

Hi guys. My receipt date is April 21 so I am waiting as well. I still have nervousness about the RFE issue but I hope all goes well (included 11 photos, copies of all receipts and boarding passes and certified letter from grandma. Hope that is enough proof).

Just curious since CSC has been cooking with hot oil lately if anyone has any advice for NOA2 preparation. I've read a good bit so far but any advice from those who have been there is much appreciated. Thank you!

I hope this is in the right section as my last thread was moved. I mailed my I-129f package out on April 16th and FedEx shows that someone signed for it on 4/17/2015. However, from what I have read many people recieve NOA1's in a very short time frame. I'm generally not very impatient, but I was wondering it a wait of 10 days or more is normal sometimes. Thanks!

I've kind of lurked around these parts for a while now and read a lot of the information (a lot of good information too!). I'll admit, the process is a bit of a worry but it's one that I will definitely have to stay strong through.

Out of curiosity, does anyone here have a success story filing for a fianceé from Mexico? I'm a bit nervious (and justifiably so) because being from Georgia my case will be sent to the TSC (which I haven't read too much good of as of late). Although I know that the process will not be easy I'm still trying to remain positive through it all.

Also, does anyone have advice on how to make the process go smoother and not avoid mistakes after filing?
