CONGRATULATIONS!
That's amazing! Congratulations!!
Thank you!

Congrats bro!!!! My fiancée interview is February 29 I hope all be easy for her too!
Thank you and good luck to you!
We found that overwhelming them with pictures and text logs left them with nothing to question. My fiancé went to window 5 and was finished in 5 minutes.

Started our journey November 27th and got our interview date for February 18. Our visa was approved after 3 questions in a five minute interview!!! We are so excited. I am working in Vietnam right now and if my France's passport comes in the mail before the 25th she will be able to fly home with me instead of flying alone.
For those of you still waiting and pulling out your hair, make sure you have already done everything you can for all the other steps while you wait. Things move at your pace once you get NOA2. Good luck!

My interview date is February 29 at 7 am
Awesome! Good luck. Ours is the 18th. My fiance is in Bangkok and going to her medical in 4 hours.

JUST GOT TEXT- APPROVED!
Congratulations!

Is there away to find out if my attorney did my pkg 3 ?
If you have your NVC number which begins with BNK you can check it at the link on this page. If they sent it your appointment date will show on this page within a couple of days. It took us 2. Good luck! http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visas/scheduled-appointments.html

OMG! FIANCEE FORGOT MEDICAL RECORDS IN HOTEL!!
Fortunately hotel was nearby and we were able to go and get them.
Apparently, Interview was a non-event. CO did not ask many questions, did not want additional evidence. Did ask questions about the golf course at Don Mueang airport.
He said, now wait 10-14 days, so I guess we are approved.
P.S. Fiancee blames me for forgetting medical records.
Awesome! i hope our interview goes as well on the 18th! Congratulations to you both!

Our case showed ready at the Bangkok, Thailand Embassy on Friday 1/29. We sent packet 3 on Saturday 1/30 and it was signed for on Sunday 1/31. My fiance received the email with packet 4 instructions and her interview date Tuesday 2/2 at 4pm local time for Thailand. Her interview is 2/18 at 10am and she has already scheduled her medical for this Friday.
Everything is happening so fast now! Best of luck for everyone, things move as fast or as slow as you go once you get NOA2.

About week ago when I talked to my attorney assistant , she seems mad because I've been blowing up her phone . She told me that in two weeks I should get a interview date. She guesses the last week of February is what the interview will be, she thinks .
I would be pretty mad if the person I was paying for their services got mad at me for asking them to keep me posted about what they are doing with my money.
Did you check for your case number in the link I just sent you? I believe that appointment file is updated daily.
Best of luck!

I already have my nvc number and invoice already . Just trying to get an estimated time for a interview date!
Wishful thinking ! Thank you for your reply
Use your number beginning with BNK and check the list in this link daily. If your attorney is being truthful with you and sent your packet 3 in when they said it should only take 3-5 days to get your packet 4 with interview date back. My fiance just spoke to someone else that she does not know well about their experience with the K1 visa in Thailand using an attorney. They started with the attorney in June. Her attorney supposedly sent in her packet 3, 3 months ago and her appointment is in February.... We sent our packet 3 Saturday and tracking showed it signed for at the Embassy on Sunday. We expect to have a February appointment notice in a day or so.

We just got APPROVED! Yay!!!
Congratulations!
It's a great feeling.

Ha, yea, I was going to try that trick if it came down to it but looks like we should have the NOA2 by the 17th anyway. fingers crossed.
I'm assuming you had to have it translated too?
And had to send it in with your PC before the interview is scheduled?
The only documents we translated were her birth certificate and her single paper.

So I could tell my fiancé she can go get her police clearance in Australia with just the NOA1 number?
I'll get right on that
I wouldn't recommend it unless it is not an issue if they tell her no and she needs to go back again later.
-
Something that also saved us another week was using our NOA1 to get police clearance instead of waiting for NOA2
-
Nice. Can I ask how long it took to get your police report?
I'm heading to LOS on the 17th and preparing the P3 while I'm there.
We were offered to leave a 1500 baht tip in an envelope and we got the police report in the mail 7 days later.
-
Did you send you P3 to the Embassy already?
Yes, just this morning Thailand time.
-
Now that we are here the wait doesn't seem as long as it did yesterday. Are case status just changed to "Ready" with the Consulate in Bangkok. Hopefully we will have our interview date in a couple of days.
Good luck everyone!
-
Congratulations to those of you that recently got your approval!
I just called NVC this morning 13 days after our packet was approved. I called at 7am on the dot and was on the phone for less than 5 minutes. I was given my case number and invoice ID number!
Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Apparently there is conflicting information for packet 3 requirements on the US Bangkok Embassy website. My fiance tells me that the packet 3 instructions in Thai say that we need 3 years worth of my IRS tax documents but in the English version of the instructions it just says the most recent years. Can anyone verify that they have recently gone through the process with only the most recent year?
-
Congratulations to all the recent approvals. They are starting to roll in now. Who else is biding their time waiting to call NVC now?
-
We just received our email notification of NOA2 last night. I have heard that printing this email is enough for police clearance in BKK. Can anyone confirm that they have done that recently? I would think that since they are accepting 2500 baht tips for expediting they really wouldnt scrutinize things too much. My fiance plans to go to BKK tomorrow morning for this.
-
Thank you everyone and congratulations to the others that received their NOA2s.
-
Just decided to check the case tracker app one more time before going to sleep and we just got approved (noa2)!!! I was already on FaceTime with my fiancé. We are so happy and hope everyone else starts seeing approvals soon. We will update our timeline in the morning. How long does it take to get the approval email or hard copy by mail?
Good luck everyone!
-
I'm not but I guess you could do that if you wanted. The app allows you to choose a range of case numbers. I simply choose a range of 100 cases.USCIS issues the WAC######## Case numbers sequentially, he is literally just changing the numbers at the end to review other peoples case statuses

Finger crossed the NOA2's start rolling in soon, I'm just getting things scanned for my police check and got visa photos done today too.
My fiance is ready to go for police clearance immediately after I get NOA2. We also have everything ready for packet 3 that can be prepared ahead of time as well. Just waiting for that NOA2....
Good luck everyone. How many December filers have NOA2 already?
