Thanks for the reply. You think my lawyer did that on purpose? That he sent in packet 3 without paying ? Is there any other way for him to pay the visa and get confirmation without registering ?

I've retained a lawyer to help us with the K1.. on 6/29, he emailed me saying he sent in Packet 3 to my consulate, he didn't give me any tracking number or any information, I just trusted his word. He told me to wait a few days and we'll be notified by the Consulate on an interview date. (Us Embassy in Thailand schedules the interview date for us, we can't choose)

On 7/3,.. I decided to email USTravelDocs for a general inquiry, I wanted to know when they updated their website to show the confirmed interviews for the month of July.

I received an automated email from them saying they received my email at 7:42.

At 7:42, I also received another email from USTravelDocs, it said the following:

Dear New Portal User:

Your US Travel Documents Customer Portal username and password information is below.

To access the online system, enter your username and password into the log-in page. Be sure to enter the two CAPTCHA words exactly as they appear on the screen to validate your information.

I logged in with the temporary password they gave me, and I changed my password and logged in. I'm guessing this is the website where we pay for the Visa.

My question is: Why would I get this email? and shouldn't I have a profile created already by my lawyer?

When does the US Embassy BKK website update their list? It's already July 2nd, don't see a list of July appointments yet, they still have June's calendar up.

I've been checking the CEAC page,.. on the 26th, it finally changed to Ready and the Status Updated Date was 26-Jun-2015.. I was looking at today (for no reason.. just bored), and the Status Updated Date changed to 29-Jun-2015 but it still says Ready..nothing else changed.

Do you know what this mean? if it does mean anything at all...

Yeah I mean tattoos that are gang related (if they know about it) or tattoos that support some sort of racism would raise an eyebrow.

I retained a lawyer, he sent in our Packet 3 without the police certificate, we're still waiting for it now, he says my fiance can just bring it with her to the interview. I'm pretty sure the consulate will understand you not wanting to wait 3 weeks for a piece of paper when they'll eventually see it anyway at the interview.

Pretty sure medical doesn't care about tattoos. More focused on results from x-ray and up to date on vaccinations.

Does my son (15 months) have to attend the interview with my fiance? I know he has to go to the medical with his mom, not sure about the interview.

Hi, I'm in the process of doing a K1, the consulate has had my petition for 3 business days.. arrived from NVC on Friday morning (19th) but my CEAC website isn't updating. It's saying the same old Your search did not return any data. or Invalid Application ID or Case Number. Is this normal?

would you please tell me how you tracked your package through DHL?

I am trying to follow the link in visa journey, but It doesn't give me any results. My application was shipped on Monday.

go on DHL.com, track by reference, if NVC said they sent it out today, 6/17/2015. Suggested to type in a day before NVC said they sent it, so type in for reference "EXP 16 JUN 2015A."

For date range, FROM (put two days before today) and TO (todays date) and finally click on the Country it is being sent to.

I see. Makes sense. I just called the NVC every other day early in the morning at my job. That can quickly get annoying though.

And the CEAC website is down, so you can't get any updates from there. DHL Tracking is easier and you can sign up for email updates so you'll definitely know when consulate received it.

but what does the trick do for you? it doesn't make your package ship any faster or slower, right?

No of course it doesn't help it ship any faster or slower but it allows people to track their cases to their respective consulates if they wanted instead of having to keep calling NVC.

So that trick does def. work, email tracking says it shipped from NVC, 32 Rochester Avenue, Portsmouth.. don't know why the website says it was picked up from Boston.

There is a thread on here that tells you how to "track" through DHL, so if you have a case number yours should have been in the next batch to go to London (they go in batches, so yours could have gone next day or may be like 10 days like ours was)

I can tell you there is no guaranteeing that that is accurate since it is by batches, but ours was pretty darn close from when that batch was "received" by London (like next day).

For your first question, assuming you guys do your interview soon, you must marry within 90 days of them telling you whether or not you're approved (right after the interview). I also think you must schedule the interview date before the expiration date on the NOA2. So you guys cannot wait until early 2016 to arrive in the USA, that will be way past your NOA2 expiration date AND way past the 90 days to get married. I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm right.

No idea. I went through the front line, gave the USCIS number, was told there was an update and then transferred into another queue. When they finally answered I received my case number, chatted with the person a bit, and then hung up. No further transfers.

Yeah I just hung up, didn't want to hold any longer. .already received my case number. No further reason to hold. And I've read some stories, people were transferred, waited, then eventually got disconnected.

Im on the phone with NVC at this moment, they just gave me our case number. then he told me he'll have to transfer me and put me on hold... anyone know why?

Just got off the phone with NVC.. had to redial 4 times but the wait time was literally only 2 seconds! strange! but the guy says they received my case today, his own words, "it is in the building." But said 30 days until I receive a case number. Hopefully it's not 30 days and only a few days for me to get my case number just like you all have.

I just got through on my 3rd try, you just have to keep pressing redial.

Got my case number assigned. Hoping it goes out to the Embassy today or tomorrow.

Feels so strange that things are actually happening after all this waiting.

On June 3, 2015, we sent your case, Receipt Number SRC15900*****, to the Department of State for visa processing.

Just received the email that it was sent to DOS. Same as NVC right?
