Thanks everyone. Plus, I never said that I didn't trust or believe what everyone was saying to me. I appreciate everyone's input. Please do not put me down and assume you know what I'm thinking. I have a life outside of this forum and do not sit here to check it every 5 minutes. My lack of response does not mean I disapprove or disagree with your response. Thank you.

Ugh, I feel your pain; so true! I'm very much looking forward to not having to spend an insane amount of money on flying!
    (Past experiences:
    - first trip to meet in person, was very excited and wanted to see him straight away to see if it was worth it... Booking flight only 2 weeks in advance, Boston to Murmansk, 4k (!!!) but so totally worth it.
    - second trip, booked 2.5 months in advance, Boston to Moscow, flipping 650$ round trip, can you believe it?!)
I'm expecting to fly over to Moscow for interview in August and am already trying to save some money on it... anything remotely convenient is going to be at least 1.5k, methinks. Summer prices are way higher!
p.s. From past experiences: Delta royally sucks, Lufthansa and/or Air Swiss usually have better prices if they work for you.

Small rant..... Airline prices for July are horrible.
Normally I'd fly Delta but it's up to $2,500 for one ticket. I looked at Skyscanner.com and looks like I can get better pricing flying in to JFK than my usual route, and then flying to my airport. Doing that way I could potentially save $2,500.

I agree with you on that, and I haven't seen any of that on this thread (on others, yes). It appears that the anger is directed at the decision maker(s) and priority setter(s), and with that I would have to agree. It is simply bad management to come up with a new program and not have any sort of identifiable plan in place to execute it, without gumming up the works. This goes for *anything*, politics, business, assembly line....any of it. They should have and worse, COULD have handled it much differently. Hired up and/or provided a devoted service center to process these applicants (like it seems they are/were trying to do for DAPA until the injunction....think they learned from a past, recent, major screw-up?). Could have/should have charged a filing fee to offset the cost associated with the extra workload so that they could hire more people to continue to work on the fiance/spousal visas. Could have/should have done a LOT of things differently.
Mad at the kids? Me, no. Envious? Perhaps (however, I personally would *never* choose to trade lives with someone raised with no legal status by parents who could be deported at any moment so....). Mad that they are being prioritized over me? Yes. But that's not their fault. I DO wish that they'd realize that they've got the fast track here and stop it with the public write-up sob stories, but they're mostly young and this is their first experience with the legal immigration process so they have NO idea how lucky they've gotten. I am still super upset at the people in charge giving priority to them over me. They get to stay, they get to see their families every day, they are no longer at risk of deportation so WHY do they *need* to be processed so quickly, to the detriment of others etc? Why haven't they been charged fees (beyond the EAD and the biometrics that we ALL pay) enough to offset the cost associated with processing them? I mostly just hate that this is a zero-sum game. That them getting something means that others are not. It's just not right when you're talking about real people's real lives and families and futures. And that goes for all of us, DACA kids or not.

    Hi guys,
Not to rain on the parade, but is anybody else secretly fearing that CSC's been slowing down? The VJ estimates keep getting pushed back slightly, and that's what I assume would happen when you take *all* of K1 visas (used to be processed in 3 centers) and start putting them in 1 place.
I know it shouldn't affect us the April filers too much (after all, no backlog as of now), but it's been something on the back of my mind.
I know I should take the guessing game out of the equation and sit and wait patiently, but just curious.

Sounds like you're more about the green card rather than the marriage. Marriage first, than worry about the green card. Where are you living? How are you surviving? Are you certain that you're still married? Is he in contact with you?

It all sounds dodgy. Why would a stranger commit to a minimum of ten years financial obligation to you? Don't believe such a scheme.
