  1. Case Was Approved

On June 20, 2015, we approved your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WAC**********. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move.

What is the next step ????

What do i need to do ????

Basically wait 2 weeks from your NOA2 date and then you can start calling the NVC for your case number.

I would check out the VJ portal specific to your country and see what documentation your can begin gathering for your interview.

  2. We just got our NOA-2!!!!!!! Only 4 days after replying to RFE and exactly 2 months after NOA-1 date!!!!!!!! ?????????????????

So happy!!! Tried calling my fiance and the #=@*(*@& circuits are all busy!!!! Arch!!!! So frickin happy though!!!

Best of luck to all still waiting!!!

So excited that I just screwed up that post!!! LOL

    Congrats David !

  3. We do the chat thing every night for an hour or so but even that gets difficult to think of new things to talk about. I am so glad I am almost done with this process. I am not sure about canada but Manila from what I read on the forums soon as we get the case numbers we can schedule the medical, interviews and complete the process without having to wait for packet 3 or 4,.

It seems so weird for this thread to be quiet now after so many weeks of everyone talking about this process. It almost feels haunted lol

  4. Called again. The usual, however this time the lady (Daphne I believe) said 4 weeks instead of 35 days. Switching it up I guess, but it doesn't make it any less disappointing. Arghh patience is not my forte. I'm ready to be done with 6 years of distance and to be in California permanently!

Well that is a (censored word) bummer. I would have thought for sure your case would have been received since we have the same NOA2 date.

6 years is a long time for long distance relationship I am not sure how you managed to keep it together for so long? I am out patience as well after little less then a year. You have more patience then I do ...

  5. Thanks asdf! My NOA2 is also 6/2 so that'll give me an idea of where mine is. I'll probably call Monday or something and see if there's a number yet.

You are welcome. The NVC gave me the usual scripted 4 week processing time for a case number however I was checking the timelines and some people get the case number the next day. So I will be calling every day I suppose and will update this thread when I get the number.

  6. Thank you sooo much!!

I also changes my signature..thanks for letting me know :)

I also have another questions in regards to the USCIS case tracker....will it show me any more updates besided NOA2?....e.g. NVC received my case...or something of that sort?!

I asked a similar question :) I was told TSC will update when sent to NVC however CSC does not update the status.

My NOA2 was 6/2 from CSC and my case has not changed nor has NVC received the file ...

There is a thread for april filers after NOA2. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/549544-april-filers-after-noa2-nvc-csc/page-8

  7. Mine took about three weeks to get. TSC filers normally get notified when their case is transferred, but CSC filers don't get that update. Someone told me that they've noticed people getting their info from the NVC on a Thursday or Friday, and it worked for me and it seems for others on my filer thread too.

Yes, it's pretty normal. I think the service center sends the approved petitions in batches, and probably based on the amount of cases they need to send. I don't think they send them weekly; probably bi-weekly or tri-weekly. I know the anxiety can build during this time - I don't know why I couldn't relax; I had been notified of the NOA2, so why couldn't I wait? It was going to the next level, "Calm down!!" I told myself. But I was calling within the second week. But the third week came, and there it was. Waiting doesn't get easier, but it's normal and you are on your way!!!!

Thanks for the info and glad to know I am not alone ... I totally agree with you about the stress level, this is worse for me then the USCIS process because at least with USCIS they had a website that worked (well most of the time) and IGOR'S list gave you an idea what was being processed so there was some feedback. I am seriously so over this VISA journey !!!

  8. My step by step guide will answer that question and many others you will have. Link is in my signature below or http://tinyurl.com/ob9xoa8

USEM recommends having the medical 7 ‐ 10 days before the interview. To schedule your medical appoint Again, you do not have to wait for your NOA2.

ment you will need the interview confirmation page that you printed or the emailed confirmation page with your MNL#.

Thank you very much for your posts .. But I am curious how can you receive a MNL number (which is required for the medical) without waiting for a NOA2 as your wrote in your post and your website ... Again, you do not have to wait for your NOA2. .... So I am really confused what I am missing ????

If you could please clarify I would greatly appreciate it ...

  9. @Amhara thank you for clarifying.... I called the USCIS after posting and the agent was not sure if the website updates either and said it could take 90 days for the USCIS to send the approved petition to the NVC but I don't think she knew what she was talking about. Checking the timelines on VJ it appears to be a 2-3 week wait for a case number after NOA2 ...

    Thanks again !

  10. Is it possible to get a RFE or get denied on your interview if you only flew once but stayed for three weeks to be with your Fiancé? I'm getting worried .. :(

We only met once and stayed 2 weeks together and received our NOA2 with no issues or RFE.

Just make sure you have enough proof of meeting (air and hotel receipts, baggage claim check, boarding passes, visa stamps, tour receipts etc ...) and we submitted 8 pictures and some with family. Good Luck !

  11. The official processing date is September 18th, but we know from data on here they have been processing later. We have seen approvals from October - early Jan over the last fee weeks. Average waiting times are around 220d. There are a handful of lucky ones being approved in the 5-6 month mark - I was one of them last week - but sadly, no predictable patterns at the moment.

Petitions have been routed to CSC exclusively since about March 27th, without this having much impact on processing times at TSC. Just the backlog not increasing anymore.

    @Tabeak Congrats ! You must be so thrilled . . . . .
