Thanks for your advice and reinforcment. God I sent everything in for the exception of a dna sample and the deed to my house...lol. I thought that the lawyer due to experience would be able to identify any potential areas that cause RFE's. I updated my timeline first thing prior to posting and don't worry I will give all info to help others...this site is so valuable to each of us and it is only fair to give back.
Thanks again for your encouragement. It helps.

After going out of my mind waiting...I get an RFE today, which I am glad they are on my case, however I hired a lawyer to make sure I did not get this kind of delay. I hope they have a good explanation because I could have made a mistake without them. God they better have a good explanation because I am absolutely P*ssed. Any how hopefully to help others out my NOA1 is 1/23 so this should give you a good feel for where they are at in the processing cycle. Has anyone else experienced this using a lawyer? I am looking for a reason not to blast them with the rage I feel at this moment

Yes...Texas is still forwarding to California service center which adds a little more delay. I agree the processing time with NO errors...repeat No errors that cause RFE is approximately 6 months average however other things come into play such as how fast is the consulate processing cases in your fiancee's location. Also to me it seems like some countries may endure closer scrutiny than others and I would not be surprised if Korea, Iran and Iraq were closely looked at which may cause a little slower processing. Good luck!

Looks like CIS is going to monthly updates now. Monday will be three weeks since last update and the last three showed processing dates of December 31. You would think with technology as it is they could have current realtime updates or at least frequent, accurate, predictable and constant updates for all of us poor people waiting to be with our loved ones would at least feel informed and see some dang progress. Their practices are just down right cruel and unusual punishment...border line torture.

Thanks for the information, I was not sure how their changes would affect k1 apps.

Take a look at this link for USCIS posted information on processing changes
http://uscis.gov/graphics/publicaffairs/ne...1_24Mar06PR.pdf
This article states to send all I-129s to Vermont processing center.

Is the TSC still processing K1 visa applications? Or do I need to send my I-129F to CSC? I read somewhere that all TSC apps. are being forwarded on to CSC? please advise....thanks!
I believe as of April 1 that California and Vermont are the only two processing I-129 applications. You need to check the USCIS website to verify current instructions. They are suppose to have created updated forms with new instructions. In the past the answer would have been to submit to TSC and they would forward it to CSC. Good luck!

I looked throught the CSC cases posted on here which should be a fair indicator of processing. I see most December cases done and I fully believe they are solidly in January cases with a small percentage of RFE work from December and maybe November pending. Lets hope this is fact

I hate to be negative...but I personally think you have a world of problems ahead of you. You should have travelled back and visited her prior to filing. I hope I am wrong...good luck!

I would be willing to bet that you have spyware on your computer that is collecting personal information and sending it home. The only other reasonable possibility is if you have this information in some cookies and ventured off to a website that liked to datamine your info.
Try getting some spyware removal software / prevention.

I hired an attorney mainly to give another set of eyes on the documents to make sure there are no mistakes as mistakes can cause huge delays in the process. It only cost me about $400 to have their help and K visas are all they do so they are very familiar with the process and offer a money back guarantee of approval. I think it is worth while however I am sure it is not necessary. I just did not want any delays due to a mistake on my part and since I do not fill these forms out for a living...better safe than sorry. Good luck to you!

Chances are not in your favor, however if at all possible the two of you should consult an immigration attorney.

By god they can move the foreign worker visa's forward...I guess imported worker come before family with our goverment. and yes same timeline for three updates!!! something is wrong with that picture...they make absolutely ZERO progress???

Just my opinion....you have received your NOA2 , I would wait until the interview. I do not know how fast the consulate moves in the Phillipines but I would guess you are down to a couple of months. I wish I had my NOA2
Good Luck

Good concept Jimmynuq, that would make a great deal of sense. I hope you are correct about them starting in January and I agree, As many problems as this country has most others have more and I would not want to trade with them. Thanks for the insight.

Wow Ronin308...I am very sorry to hear about your delay! This waiting game is the pits.

Thank you...the information on what the application number is very good information that I was unaware of.

Hello to everyone, has anyone received any information if California Service Center is making any progress they have been stuck on December 31 FOREVER. I just wonder if their information is accurate. My NOA1 was on Jan 23, 2006 and I am trying to figure out some kind of approximation of when I should or could expect NOA2...any information would be most appreciated. On a different note I think they need to redistrict these service centers, have you noticed that Vermont flies through...kind of tells me Vermont needs more work while some of the others need less which would offer a little more consistency and fairness to the process....just my opinion.
thanks,
Ken

I am glad I could deliver some good news for you. hopefully they will get to you very soon and I pray no RFE for you...this process takes long enough without it..nevermind to speak of the emotional stress involved...Good luck!!!!
