So once I got the HCM number I can go ahead and fill out the DS160 online, pay the fee and schedule for the interview even though my case is not in saigon yet??

Thanks. And yes I did two. I don't think it helps to be honest. I could put in another one but I gave up. The only thing I think that helped out was one of my senator. Heve done a lot and keep me posted every 10 days or so. I booked August 6th for my info pass just incase because the guy told me my approval should be update in a few days. I also wrote to the president myself. I really hope for your approval to come very soon. 258 days at TSC sounds unreal but we made it.

OCT, NOV and DEC seem to all be hanging out here. SEPs are suffering in silence right now and taking a break from VJ, from the looks of it. Last I looked someone was still waiting, which on top of being horrible for them also freaks me out :-(

I dont have access to the immifairy data, so I could be wrong (I think that would just depress me even further), but from the looks of it they seem to have mostly moved on to January and beyond. And here I feel like poking them with a glow stick and yell "We are still here too" in their ears. NOV 10 as of May 31, yeah right, thats just wrong more than one way.

My fellow nov filers please stay strong. I know how it is seeing the other got approved. We were giving up just couple days ago and we are now still crying in happiness. I'll keep the rest of our nov filers in my prayers.

we just got our approval today. I know I'll have to wait at least 2 weeks before start calling NVC. I just wonder if I could go ahead and fill out the ds160 online once I call and confirm to the consulate in hcmc that my case is there? My fiancée got her police record in June and been told it'll be good for 6 months. Is it true or she'll need a new one for the interview??? Thanks alot

I don't think so. She came out from the blue and emailed me today. I'm totally pissed. I emailed her back and said that current processing time is nov 10th and I still believe that I'm way outside of the normal processing time and it's not fair. She replied and told me that if nov 10th is their current processing time then how can I be out of it? I didn't even want to talk to her.

and this is why i don't see the point in the inquires (though of course i'll keep starting them)...they obviously mean nothing to them...if they don't look at yours they just start another one...its such a joke...

True... At this point, I currently have 3 different offices has already sent their inquiry to TSC. And the other two was when I called and talked to a tier 2. They seems to working on Jan now. This whole journey at TSC is a joke. I am 3 more days to my 8 months.

Did you follow up after 30 days? If yes, what did they say? Just want to know what to expect if that happens to me.

Go to the USCIS website and create a profile if you don't have one yet. Once you create a profile, you will see your case. Click on the case, and you will see towards the bottom of the case (Case History) the inquiries you've opened and whether is has been assigned to an officer for a response. I was told that the officer to whom the inquiry was assigned to is the same person working the case.

My first inquiry was like that but I never had a response from them.

So John and I got the NOA 2 on June 26 and we still haven't heard anything from the NVC. I just called them and they said it takes 35 days to process.

Does it really take that long? Can anyone tell me their experiences with that?

Or should I be in a different forum topic for this, if yes, which one?

I bet if you call back in another day or two it will be different. And It's a luck to get mean or nice person on the phone.

It takes roughly a week for you to get the RFE in the mail. As soon as you send want they want back to their office they'll start working on your case agai and you'll see it on your status update. From there on, you'll never know. It could be weeks, or months. You're at TSC so...

After 8 months waiting, now they tell us that they need more proof of evidence. I wonder how long this gonna be till they start working on our case again. Its gonna be a long delay..

They don't care what we're going thru obviously. And it's even worst cause it seems to me tsc is working on jan filers now. This whole thing is just a joke.

It's awful the big processing time diff between TSC and csc.

I have not officially received notice yet, but checked my status on USCIS website, and it now has posted that my case has been suspended. No one can tell me why.. I just have to wait for the actual notice to come in. I am in tears... this is the worst ever. I cant believe they think it's okay to "suspend" peoples lives like this... this is real life... real emotions, real feelings... I waiting over 7 months to be told they need more info... and then will not even tell me what is needed... and oh, the notice can take up to two weeks to be received.. and if not, request another by mail... How can you possibly make any wedding plans like this!!!!????????? Does anybody from USCIS see the seriousness in this????

I know how you feel. But atleast someone's working on your case. Look at us here, nothing, nothing at all and I'm days to my 8 months at TSC.
