  1. My fiancee just received a medical examination for her job which included an x-ray about two weeks ago. If our case proceeds normally, we expect her to be going to Manila for the medical and interview process in the next two months. She was advised that she should not have another chest x-ray within 3 months as it is a unnecessary radiation exposure and could create problems. Will St. Lukes accept the x-ray and results from the x-ray she just had two weeks ago or will she have to get another x-ray there?

    Thanks,

    Brian

I work as a Radiologic Technologist. The amount of radiation is negligible. She will recieve more radiation on the plane ride to the USA than she has recieved from the few chest xrays she has had. As for the St Luke exam, yes she will need to have new Chest x-rays. For three months is more than enough time to come in contact with TB or other communicable disease. Only issue that could be an issue is if you fiancee is Pregnant.

  2. AOS as in Adjustment of Status or as in Affidavit of Support?

I am assuming affidavit of support by the wording of your question. For the K-1 visa interview, you will need the I-134. After she is in the US, you marry within 90 days and file for adjustment of status(AOS), then you will need the I-864.

  3. What visa are you chasing? Your profile states F-1, which is not a fiancee visa. And your timeline states K-1 but lists Armenia. Are you F-1 or K-1, process is different for each?

If you are actually K-1 and you have your NOA2 and are waiting for your NVC letter with your MNL # .... then follow the flashing arrow below for details on the process for Manila.

Then beat feet over to the Philippines forum to get great assistance with your visa process in Manila: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

HELLO I checked out the red arrow and am putting int he MLN number that was sent to me thru the mail From NVC but is not working on the link to check its progress.:(

  4. what means quick in your case ?? I've got this now as I wanted to look for an updatearrow-10x10.png

At this time USCIS cannot provide you with informationarrow-10x10.png for your case. Please contactarrow-10x10.png the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

What i mean quick in my case is that Looking at others VJjtimelines my application was accepted and sent to NVC quickly as in two weeks. where as others i had noticed took a month or longer.
