Sorry I forgot to come back and let everyone know. I crossed at Sweet Grass/Coutts (MT/AB) and I got picked for a random Covid test, which you must administer yourself while a Red Cross person instructs you what to do. If you get picked to do a test, don't open the box until you get up to where the testing is. I needed to make an account with Switch Health in order to get your results. Other than that, no problem I mean I gave over my test results letter and my passport and they ask all the same questions, where you going, how long, etc.

I called my insurance company and it is covered, however not all may be covered, I will be having it done at my Dr's office which is in network.
I am getting a swab on Thursday morning as I am going to cross at Sweetgrass/Coutts on Saturday morning. First time I have crossed since this all began, so I will update how it goes next week when I get back. Not sure yet what I need to show Border Services, but hoping I get an email from my Dr's office and I will print that. Unfortunately, I can't play with the CanArrive app to see. I do have a call into CBSA in Alberta, so we will see what they say.

4 emails to various US Consulate and Department of State departments. (who are now investigating)
1 phone call to Canada Post facility in Richmond (wrong place, but the guy said he would call over to the right one. Said maybe the package fell off the belt)
I have written the following letter and forwarded it to the local MLA, the premier of BC (even though Canada Post is federal and not provincial), the Prime Minister, and 4 news stations (I am not playing around, this is mine and my kid's life and identity):
I am hoping for a quick resolution to your issue. What a nightmare indeed. Hopefully you are proceeding on with whatever you need to do in order to cross into the US for your wedding and new life.

So the plot thickens..
I recently received a letter in the mail (it was sent over a week ago, but I was out of the country and only got it yesterday). It was an appointment letter asking me to come to the same office where I had the first interview.
All it says is "REASON FOR APPT: FURTHER TESTIMONY ON YOUR PENDING N400 APPLICATION." Bring with you: THIS LETTER.
So my question to you is:
Should I be worried? Is this just standard procedure or some kind of ambush?
I am wondering if they are just going to make sure I didn't suddenly turn into a violent criminal and got arrested while they tracked down the rest of my file (I didn't--criminal record is spotless). Or are they going to lock me in a room to interrogate and slowly torture me? I don't know, but I don't trust them...
Does anyone know what this letter means???
Hey there, not sure what your letter means but perhaps it is just to clarify things they were not able to when you went for your interview due to them not having your full file. Did you go through an interview earlier in removing conditions? If you did and all was fine then I am sure this is a formality. When do you have to appear for your next interview?
Hopefully someone else who has got one of those letters will be by to let you know what happened with them. I would say don't worry about it, but I know it would do no good. Chin up is all I can say.

I KNOW! YAY!
The butterflies in my tummy are killing me! Everything is set... got the hotel reservation so we can be closer to the court house. It's a 7-hr drive for us round trip so we'll be driving up there the day before. Will kind of look around and find the place so we'll know where to go in the morning. This is really special and we don't want to screw things up by getting lost and late for the ceremony 
Excited for you. Have a nice relaxing evening tonight. I did the same thing took a hotel near the courthouse as well, just for peace of mind. Have fun tomorrow, can't wait to hear all is done tomorrow.

Thanks No-Ten i did pass (what a relief lol). The lady I had was very nice and the questions were easy questions. They are all very nice there. We arrived early and went in about 25 minutes before my appointment (10:55 am). Cleared security, gave my letter to the lady security told me to sat down and was called about 10 minutes later. I was out ot there at 11:20 am. While I was in there we chatted a bit as well so very much at ease. No-Ten just to let you know the building that my GPS told us was not the right building, it was next door and they do have a sign for Homeland Security just to let you know it is a white building with a flagpole in front of it.

Had my interview today and passed. I was told I will get my Oath letter in the mail and would likely be in September as the August date is full now. What a relief, very nice people there in Norfolk for sure.

Here in North Carolina a toque is called a tobaggan. Cracks me up every time.
OMG when my husband called it a tobaggan the first time I thought he was just messing with me, I'm like what you put a sled on your head lol.
The "zed" thing still cracks me up.
When I hear "zed" I think of the boss in Men in Black, whose codename by the way, probably didn't ring a bell with American audiences. In MIB, every agent's codename was a letter (Tommy Lee Jones was "Agent K" for instance) but then we ran across the guy in-charge and his codename was "zed." Most Americans I've run into just thought he had a codename that sounded different because he was the boss. It most likely didn't occur to them (or they just didn't know) that "zed" is how most of the English-speaking world refers to what we in the U.S. call "zee."
I remember having to spell something to someone on the phone and I said Zed and he didn't understand and I was like oh yeah Zee, shaking my head.
Pop vs soda is a regional thing. I live in the midwest and here it is pop. Because of the accent here, this is the one region that really really should use soda. Not only because, well, it is soda, but with a strong midwest accent, "pop" sounds more like "pap." Eeeeeuwww!!!!
I find this is regional, as I know lots of Northern Americans and they say pop, but here in the south sometimes you get waitresses not understanding the term lol.
OH and how about I know several American people who call it a bedroom suit and I call it a bedroom suite.

It might depend if you are a dual citizen. I know you can go there, but not sure what might happen with the vaccine passport. Maybe call an MLA representing the area you are planning on visiting in Ontario and see if they can give you information.
