I just got back from Ohio for a vacation. Sad to say, I checked the mail and nothing! I checked my status and still nothing! Lol. I had my biometrics two weeks and one day ago already and so far no news yet! This is a hopeful Thursday for us! Let's hope that our cases will move and our EAD will get approved. God is good!

My status changed....I pray it's an approved expedite. I got sick after having our baby and haven't been able to work so we really his EAD quickly

Yeah, I've also came across some lucky AOS filers from February/March that have an updated status set to the above. No RFE's notices are a positive thing however so in our case, no news is good news thus far.

Nope, my still remains the same for I-485 AOS, EAD/AP. Fingerprint fee was received and case is still processing, yada, yada, yada!

I know Couple more weeks and we should start getting approvals

Out of boredom, I deducted 1000, 500 and 100 from my Receipt number. They are working on (-1000) from my case. Lol.. I am giving them 1-2 weeks to process the 1000 cases before me.. Lolloll..

Did any of you guys change their status's already? Specially to those who had their biometrics in April as well?

That could be an RFE. You'll receive your letter anytime soon. When did you have your biometrics?

Hello! I already did my biometrics yesterday. How long after biometrics that you'd know you have an RFE? I'm really anxious to know if I have an rfe or no rfe already.

Congrats guys to those who landed jobs! I, too had two phone calls and I've my hands on exam tomorrow. I hope they'll accept despite the fact that my EAD is still on process. I'd like to work already to help my hubby.

I'm waiting on the letter for my wife's Biometrics still. I'm estimating an arrival by sometime next week or so?

Can't wait for my biometrics on Wednesday! I just receive a possible job and they set me an interview with them. I hope they are willing to wait for my EAD. God is good!

If you do an earlier biometrics, does it mean they will process your EAD sooner than expected? I am still second guessing if i will do an early biometrics or just do as scheduled. I really want to work already and help my husband.

it is a long process and will undergo a lot of scrutiny, he has to be abused by his partner, whether it is verballly, physically, emotionally, financially abused you have to prove that to self petition via VAWA. If you're not any of those and your wife happened to just withdraw the petition then I guess you got 30 days to leave. There should be a reason why she withdrew it and that would be the red flag for USCIS. Anyway, good luck and I hope you can find ways to make your stay legal here in the US.

Individuals who were granted a National Interest Waiver (NIW), (E21)

yup that's it. that is why i am saying, i don't know his situation but if it applies to him, why not try? if it will not apply to him, then maybe its time for him to go home.

she self petitioned herself because she was an abused wife. I don't know he's situation but my friend was abused by her husband and they divorced and she self-petition yourself. i know you've done all the processes but that doesn't mean you know all the insides of the green card application plus it is a case to case basis.

it wouldn't hurt to check about the self petition thing since you're running out of options. I personally know someone who underwent the same thing. Hers was pulled out too by her husband and she got her EAD as well. She is now undergoing self-petition. Check USCIS, like I said, it wouldn't hurt and you're running out of options here.

did you just say you already have the conditional work permit or conditional green card? either way, I think you can do self-petition. But of course, you have to work first to be able to support your application. check some links for self-petitioning.

when did you send your AOS ? They receive my April 27 2015 but I haven't received any letter yet...im getting worried.
