I was waiting for it everyday!!! FINALLY I GOT IT!

NOA2 took 76 days.

NSC is moving guys!!! They cleared almost all of JAN 06 and now they are moving to FEB 06.

Hi! The manila Embassy also received our case last March 29, 2006.. I guess we have the same waiting period! hehe... Did you receive the packet 3 already? From what I've read in some posts here, the manila embassy no longer send out the packet 3.. They'll send out the packet 4 a month before your interview date. I wonder how true that is. But in my opinion, i think there's some truth in it cz upto now i haven't received any packet 3 from them and we were suppose to receive it a week after they receive our case... Hmmmm Oh well, I'm counting my 112 days! HOPEFULLY! Tthe embassy did mention 4 months before interview date...

I use V.O.I.P such as intouch because it's very cheap like P1.40 per minute when i call the U.S and so much cheaper than my fiance calling me(imagine how cheap that is, PESOS!!). And they also keep all the Phone records in your account on their website so You can have a copy from the day you started talking. I still have a copy since the first time I called him using this and that was still around august last year. I don't know what you guys use there... VONAGE i guess..

Hi everyone! I've read from one of the posts here in VJ that in the U.S Embassy in manila, they no longer send out PAcket 3? Does that mean I shouldn't expect one anymore? How long shall I expect the packet 4 if the NVC mailed me that they sent my case at the U.S embassy 10 days ago? Pls do reply... Thanks!!

You're not alone sistah! My fiance (the USC) is a very nice man but, when it comes to this k1 visa thing, my GOD!!!! MY GODDDDDD!!!! Believe me, I am an assertive, most impatient person in the world... but with him, i have to be aggressive! haha! maybe not aggressive, but almost there he does cooperate little by little everyday but it's like he has all these lame excuses why he can't write the letters tonight cz work was so stressful today, or 'oh, i didn't know i have to notarize it' when you've told him a dozen times.. You have no idea how much persistence I give this man. But hey, just before we started everything, that's one of his idiosyncrasies/ flaws which I either have to accept, ignore or Leave.. So, I'm not complaining anymore because that's part of the DJ that i love... So my advice? just take a deep breath and continue asking for his help because I'm sure he will......later! hehe..

Hi,

You should ccall again tomorrow during business hours, and speak with an operator personally. The automated system is great for some things, but in this case-do speak with someone. You will get more answers. Everyone I have spoken with at NVC has been very. very nice and helpful.

Almost forgot, use your USCIS case number for now.

Ours took about 2 weeks to get there from Vermont. I think they send over in bulk 1x a week.

The NVC case number will be on the DS-3032 upon receipt.

HI.. I called the nvc this morning and finally got to talk to an operator. Luckily, they told me that they received my case and that they will forward it to the embassy this week. He also gave me my new nvc case number since i have not received a hard copy from them yet. My question is, What is DS-3032 and will I get that with the nvc hard copy? What else should I expect from the NVC? How long did you get yours? Any reply

Hey, I need help. I'll be doing the CFO thing soon and I was wondering what was the easiest way to get to SMEF-COW place....I'm not very familiar with the Aurora Blvd area. I was looking at the Location Map they have online butttttttttttttttt....hmmm...lolol....obviously cant imagine any of the landmarks.

I'll be commin from Makati, Edsa...If I were commuting should I take the MRT? Bus? where do I get off? Would it be advisable if I just brought a car? Does anyone know if there is a safe parking space inside the compound?

Hi! I'll be attending the CFO soon too and I was wondering, how many handwritten letters do you have from your fiance and visa versa? Our agency told us that we should have at least 60 letters... 30 from me and 30 from my fiance? how true is that? This is the only thing that's causing the delay since writing that much letters takes a lot of time. (we email n call, n chat so we dont really write letters but are forced, hehe)

hey guys! today i received an email from NSC saying that yesterday they sent my petition to NVC. i called NVC just to ask an estimate time as to when i might hear something and they told me it could be 2-4 weeks or even 90 days before they receive it. i'm just curious to your other experiences and how long you waited??

And they told me that they did received it and are forwarding my case this week to the embassy. let's see, march 10 approval of petition,... march 17 received hard copy of noa2.. so i guess expect it a week after you get the snail mail of your NOA2 from uscis.
