Took 1 week for my wife to get hers.. I bought her ticket in advance. 3 weeks out from the interview :-P

So everything worked out good..

Our interview was at the end of July in HCMC and they didn't ask for her single paper.

They only asked a few questions.. We had probably 6000 pages of messages 70 letters affidavits from my family 200 pages or financial documents. All they asked was a few questions about my previous marriage and what we did for lunch yesterday

We passed!!!!!!!!

Her interview is 7-23-15.. I will be there on 7-21-15. She lives in Hue..

Our interview is the 23rd.. I was wondering if they fixed the visa backlog. How long after the interview will she get her visa?

Yeah she lives in Hue.. I have thought about that also. I think our case is bullet proof. But I know how Uncle Sam can be.. I thought that's what I had read also but I was hoping maybe

She said she read somewhere that we can pay to have it issued the next day.. I have not read that

OK she got her packet 3 today and scheduled her medical at IOM for July 20th. Next question.. Will they issue the visa at the embassy or do we really have to wait for them to mail it to her house? I will only be able to stay there for 2 weeks and we want to leave Vietnam together!

It says the ready date is 5-26.. So when will they mail the packet?

She hasn't got her packet 3 yet but I was wondering how much will the medical and vaccines cost? Also how far ahead of the interview does she need to have the medical and vaccines done?

Oh BTW our interview is July 23rd if that helps anything..

Well our interview is scheduled for July 23rd. I hope all goes well.. I plan on flying to Saigon and going. I figure it will look better if I am there..

I mailed Loan a box of some things On March 21st. And it's still not there. Should I be concerned? I mailed it priority from the post office as that was the cheapest route. Although it still wasn't cheap!

Got our NOA 2 Friday the 10th!

We just got our NOA 2 last Friday on the 10th.. What is in package 3 from the HCMC embassy? It would be awesome if I could go ahead and get her prepared for what she needs to do next :-)

In November of last year my fiancée applied for a student visa. She was denied.. Now I worry that will be tripping stone during the interview. We have intentions of her going to college when she gets here and we get settled. Any advice on how to approach this? Our relationship is very real and she is currently pregnant from my last visit :-P
