After 125 days...on July 15 I-765/131 Card Was Picked Up By The United States Postal Service ??.

Theonly advice that I can give you, is.. Answer the rfe quickly, if you do that, gonna be like 2-3 weeks.

Anyone know if the RFE was an initial RFE (ours was), did it totally reset our processing time back to day 1? Or just put the processing time on hold, and restart once uscis got the response?

A little bit. In my case it was,but yesterday at least I-131,I-765 was approved, almost 123 days... Thanks to a rfe.

Hello everybody, hope somebody can enlighten me..........

I entered USA on March 2016, via K1 visa, got married, on May. My I-94 has expired las June 16, we made a mistake for not filling AOS, before my I-94 expired...thought as long as we got married within 90 days upon my arrival is just fine.

Now, it worries us.

1.am I now considered illegal alien? what is now my status?

2.There's a question on form I-485, asking for my current status, what should i put on it? Am I still K non-immigrant?

Now we are on panic, so we started to gather documents needed for filling of AOS. Am i not subject for deportation, or what?

Relax. You can put in your status visa k1 holder (like the examples). We start almost a month later and put that. K1 visa holder. Just follow the examples,and do It.

You should send the letter offer of employment, I know how you feel I am in the same situation, and is unfair.

I have almost 30 days (tomorrow) of a request about my I485 rfe... So, what can I tell you.

This just gave me hope. Am still waiting and waiting... And waiting, we call and they told us that we need to wait at least 60 days just to know something.

Just... To know if they received the package. Thank God we tracked it.

We are still waiting.

RFE in april 12.... send Rfe back in may...and..nothing moving.

Our life is frozen because of this.(AOS).

Update : I received my rfe letter n Saturday, is about the joint sponsor and the 125%.

The Same here, had my biometrics today n Morrisville NC, and just 5 minutes ago....receive a email for RFE. I guess is bcs didn't send mine too. Jiji.

You only need the Passport and I-94. That's all.

For AOS, yes they need Full biometrics, pictures and fingerprints of all of her digits.

For EAD, they only need picture and fingerprint of her right index only and her signature.

Her Biometrics Letter came in with Code 2 which means only picture and right index and her signature.

This is for her EAD and not her GC.

There are 3 codes for Biometrics, 1, 2 and 3

From the Service Request call, we found out that Los Angeles is processing application dates of August and ours is December.

We filed a Service request for her GC/AOS Biometrics.

My Biometrics letter came in with Code 3. For EAD and AOs.

Well that's not as helpful as I was hoping... I thought it was just if he had a job offer then we could ask for an expedite.

You can do it with a job offer. If you have a letter. I saw a lot of people here in the forum.

I finally found a thread that explained what had to be on the DS-3025 in order not to have to file a I-963. We met all of the conditions so we filed without the I-963. So right now we don't know if that was the correct decision. Hopefully it was. Here is the thread where I found the information.
