  1. With the spiteful attitude that has been presented here by you and a few others, I can't say I blame them.

Ok I've had enough. If was so spiteful, why am I here when I am DONE with TSC and the NVC? I could just move on if I were so spiteful.

You are bickering but this particular moderator lets you get away with it. If you don't have anything of value to add here besides accusing me I suggest you move on.

  2. I hope you don't get a checklist at the NVC, I did and it sucks. I also got an RFE during the I-130. I wonder what is in store for me next? I just want to be with my Spouse, it's so horrible.

Yeah I'm on like my 3rd checklist I think. Started this process in 2012, Nvc in 2013, my blessing is that my spouse is here in the us with me but this is our last chance & if we get checklist this time he will have to go back and finish the process from there. I feel so bad for those who are separated and worried that could happen with us. It's so nerve wrecking knowing we are so close to an answer.

I can't say I know exactly what you are going through but I feel your pain.

Doesn't he need to be in his home country to go to the interview?

  3. Anyone else getting this while signing in to check their case...

    " Application Error

You have encountered an application error. Please try again later."

Maybe I should stop trying to check my case every 5 seconds haha

    Questions:

    1) Are you using a phone? Rather use a PC

    2) What browser are you using? I can access https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspxon Mozilla Fireforx right now

  4. I just called & no updates for me. I guess the reason I call now that it's close is it helps me get rid of that nagging feeling of "what if it's a checklist?" At least hearing that "60 day" shpeel is reassuring me, at least for now, it's not a checklist!

No judging here my friend! I definitely understand the time factor involved. Besides, you're not that far off on your dates I believe. It's not going to make or break anyone else's case and everything is so random at the NVC anyways! LOL

    Thanks I know :)

  5. The "RFE" email is the same but just different date. Someone tells me that it's the same as the first (maybe a system error) but I think I need to wait for the mail which they will let us know what exactly they need us to add so that I can know why my case gets checklist. I really don't want this happens to us because it takes almost 2m15d to solve problem... Too tired ....

I wish I had an answer for you. Hopefully it's a system error. Wait to see what the mail says, if that ever arrives. :clock: :clock: :clock:

  6. It's my 8 months in TSC and I just received an "RFE" email last night. This is my second times that I received this. I have never heard about the case gets checklist for 2 times. They should request everything at once. OMG, I'm very sad and upset.

Is it a new RFE or the same issue as the first one?

  7. Uhhhhhhhh....it has been, on many occasions. Hell I even raised the issue with the director of the entire USCIS, Mr. Leon Rodriguez via the phone conference Q&A a month or so ago. Outwardly (and to all federal representatives who inquire on behalf of their constituency) the USCIS denies that the problem of a processing time imbalance for the I-129F between the TSC and CSC even exists.

Oh ok. When people tell lies they need to presented with FACTS to counter their lies. I know some people here are collecting NOA1 and NOA2 confirmations from CSC filers who fly by quickly. Obviously not all CSC filers give a #### and won't be interested to help with the exercise.

  8. Nopes no rfe at all! Sitting Ducks ?

It's disheartening when you see people FLY through the CSC in TWO WEEKS!

I know I can go on and on and people will come to tell me to stop moaning but I KNOW what you are going through and it sucks.

It's not fair and nees to be brought to the attention of USCIS.

  9. He's currently located in Australia, so does that mean I won't get to see him for over a year? That sucks!

You are free to visit him and he may/may not be allowed to visit you. It depends what happens at the POE and if he can prove that he doesn't have immigrant intent when coming to visit during the CR-1 process.

Here is a thread dedicated to that question : http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/479894-yes-you-can-visit-ir1-cr1-version/

  10. You only need to go through this lengthy process once. (USCIS -> NVC -> Embassy, with many months of waiting)

If your husband enters the US before you two are married for 2 years, then he will receive a conditional green card. It is a valid green card on the condition that you two stay married. After you two have been married for two years, you can file a form to remove the condition which converts it to a regular green card (10-year duration with no conditions). It's a separate form, and could take a month or so to process, but it's nothing like the original filing you need to go through to get the initial green card. Moreover, you two can stay together during the filing, which is multitudes better.

Since you haven't started filing yet, and the total process will likely take ~1 year or more, you should go ahead and start as soon as possible. By the time he has his immigration visa to come to the US it will already be two years and he will get the green card without conditions on it, and you won't need to do anything else afterwards.

    Hey, thanks for the info.
