I'm not familiar with how the passport with visa is handled in your country. Do you have to pick it up personally at the embassy? Seems to me like that's a pick up date.

yeh we need to visit embassy. She was happy giving me that card. After seeing that card i forgot to ask her anything. She simply told to come on that given date. Bt why hold for 2 weeks? Do u hav any idea sister?

the CO told me the visa is approved yesterday, i checked today ceac status and it said Administrative Processing (if the Co didnt ask you to bring any other document, or told you that they needed to verify something..this basically means the visa is being process in some department..right before its issued), after a few hours..my status changed to Issued

I guess they want to see our expression before interview. She checked photos, tax papers, asked abt her family, abt sponcer, abt their job. My wife sister is our sponcer ani i guess it helped and said congratulation and gave me a card of April 2. Bt why 2 weeks hold?

Administrative processing basically means additional scrutiny to your marriage or additional background security check.

What you have, is it a 221g form?

mine and my wife has 10 years of difference as she is older than me. May be they want to make sure whether this is true relation or not. I havent heard abt 221g form. She told congratulation, gave me the card and told me to come to that date. When i came out i saw 2 April, means 2 weeks. And later checked Ceac, all that was written

At the time I was 41, and he was 30. We are different religions as well. We saw each other 4 times and traveled together, but the age was never brought up for us. The CO thought we were already married, and that was our potential problem. My then fiance interviewed in December of 2013 and was approved by February 2014. His interview was tough, but we were approved. Best wishes.

sis what documents u took to interview? Did they ask u abt age gap?

We were in long distance relationship from almost 5 years. We used to know eachother when i was there in Nepal. Shared gifts letters ets on Nepal. Later when married when we met. We have letter shared on 2010 and western union receipt frm 2010 aswell. So that is our proof of old relationship. As for family his mother and his some friends came in our marriage ceremony as it wasnt possible to take my every member to Nepal. But my sister is Sponcer to bring him here. We have lots of màrriage photos and touring photos from different parts of NEPAL.

what are the other documents he can collect? What documents can i make along with my husbands name in absense of him in US?

My husband is 10 years younger than me (35-25) and i am a LPR. I filed i-130 for my husband and on 18th March he is having interview on Us Embassy Nepal. Our relationship is true. We have many proofs to proove it.

1) Court Marriage certificate

2) Marriage Photos and Video with my mother, friends and relatives.

3) Western union money transfer history from dec 2010 to july 2013.

4) Call records.

5) My husbands insurance policy where i am Beneficiary

6) Love letters shared on 2010 and some letters of 2013 and 2014

7) Postal Receipts.

8) Touring photos to different parts of Nepal.

And some others.....

Are these enough to proove the relationship? Please help me.
