    Hi I am just in the process of starting the K1 visa. Has anyone being approved from Dublin as I would like to know roughly how long it takes. I have read it takes 6-9 months. Also I would like to visit my fiance as 6-9 months is very long to be apart I have read that it is possible but I would need to have prove of ties to my home country in order to be granted a visitor visa. Can someone tell me what would be the best evidence to bring with me for this. Thanks

      I suggest you visit right before filing and then rough it out, much less paperwork. If you really can`t wait, have the USC visit during the process, they won`t be questioned. That`s how we did it. My USC now husband flew over a month before I actually moved (we didn`t have an interview date yet and it had been over a year since we last saw each other before that). you can look on this page: http://www.visajourney.com/portals/index.php?country=Ireland for more info about your embassy.

    SO excited yet so impatient to get our NOA2!

      I`m okay with waiting it`s just the closer it gets to the date we`re expected to get our NOA2 the more i want it NOW haha, I`m sure everyone`s been through this! With our NOA1 date we`re expected to get our NOA2 in 1-2 weeks :)

    HEY! I see you guys are BE/US as well and not even very far from where my fiancé lives! Thank you for your friend request I'm happy to meet new people on here! Seeing all these nice people on the VJ forums going through the same thing me and my SO are going through makes me feel less stressed about it!

      I'm a 15-20 minute ride away from Antwerpen, if you tell him I'm from Mechelen I'm sure he'll know! The more I read into all of this though the more questions I seem to be getting so you can definitely expect some questions probably as soon as our I-129F is sent in, which we're planning on doing in the next couple of weeks! We just wanna make sure we get everything right and add enough information.
