anyone know how long the get the actually I/L after being told by over the phone that there is an interview date?

my cc date is october 30 , I hope that I am in that interview batch that is coming for december

Is NVC closed last Oct. 25 and 26? If yes, maybe that's the reason why they didn't distributed i/l's yet due to Thanksgiving. I hope and pray that nextweek brings good news to all of us. I got cc last 0ct 27 so probably its been a month of waiting too.

NVC was only close on Thursday Nov 26, for thanksgiving, they re-open on Friday Nov 27,

I understand your fear , but the ds-260 has no column or space for you to enter a beneficiary number.

They have stopped using the beneficiary ID # , the state department example is outdated, don't worry about that .

Beneficiary Id no longer necessary , what is necessary is Invoice # and Case #

You will fill out the Ds -260 at the embassy and pay the application fee then, but you will also have to do a medical too. please remember to take you documents

How can she go to the embassy without having her name on the interview list? Will they allow her to give interview? I am facing the same thing. Should i go along in the interview? Will they let me in?

if you read you welcome letter it mention info on cspa, what your parent have to do is mention your name and your cspa info to your Consular Officer and they will allow you beneficiary to have access to the embassy. the person might have to wait outside until you have this cleared up. if you check this website you will see that is what alot of persons who qualified for CSPA and the NVC send their case to local embassy have cspa reviewed did at the time of interview.. I was lucky that I paid for beneficiary application Fee on ceac website before they dropped my beneficiary, so the nvc had to review my case and add back him.

But i have heard that it will take 15 days for her after me and my parents interview as here ds260 form had not yet been filled up so do you know anything about that or she would directly be aproved for visa along with me and my parents

I guess she will fill out the ds-260 at the embassy , but maybe it the Medical that embassy awaits before final approval. because she cannot do a medical without a letter from the embassy stating that she must do so.

I would suggest to take her to the interview and she will be added back them and process with the rest of the family. As i said before , I have seen member of Visajourney has their CSPA case review at the interview and the beneficiary added back and issued visa at the same time with family members.

Also remember to take all her documents to , Birth Certificate , pictures etc

Yes i know she should be added back even after sending the email as showed by you they havent replied to us yet and its has been months.I hope she gets added at the time of the interview

Has anyone gotten interview Date or any update on their case?

I did email NVC two to three times and they replied saying they have sent our case to the consulate. Any idea whether they will review the cspa and give decision there and then or keep my case on pending for a few months to review eligibility? my lawyer has prepared paperwork for CSPA which we will present it to the officer at the time of my parents interview.

you should go to the interview with your parent and maybe they will do the CSPA review then because from my amateur calculation your cspa age is under 21 yes you will be added then and there and interview too.

Actually i have a sister who is 24 years old and we have file for immigration in 2002 and it became approved in 2010 but still her name is blocked at the nvc site for filling up for the ds-260 form stating that she is inapplicable for the us visa.We also mailed nvc about this case but there was no reply.Some people are saying that her immigration will be approved directly at the time of the interview.Please help us in what steps should we take in this case.

What is your sister date of birth and what is your priority date also the date NVC received your case. you will need these to calculate her age for CSPA review. In my experience I wrote an email to NVC with all above info and showed why my derivative beneficiary qualified for cspa and he was added back to the case . I must say I have seen cases on Visa Journey, where some people said that they went to the interview with their parent and at time they were added back and filled out and paid this visa application fee. So hope is not loss for your sister along as her Age for CSPA is below 21.

Just from the info you provided your sister date of birth is some time in 1991 therefore she was 11 at the time of application. her age was frozen until 2010 when NVC got her case so her age now for CSPA is 16 years old. I am assuming that your priority date is current now and if my assumption are correct she is applicable for CSPA and should be add back to the case.

my case was completed 3 weeks ago too but no 3 n/a and I got the email stating my case is completed . Today I logged on I have 3 n/a . I hope it mean my case is now schedule for interview.

If you're in F4 the priority date matters. You can check that from their visa bulletin.

I went to the embassy on the 12 of November for an interview an yes! it was approved. The waiting was very long but when they got to me the interview was over in a min an I was free to go home. Questions that was asked are; how old am I, how long have my dad and stepmom been married for, where did the wedding keep, did I attend it, if I have ever committed any crime. That's it! An that I check the ceac website an it say issued. Why they ask the spouse and fiancé so much questions during the interview? Gosh I was so cared for most of the people they questioned an It wasn't me.

Yes my PD is 2002 and F4 IV , so it take a while for NVC to have a visa number available. my pd just became current in August 2015.

Can someone help me with this question, when your case is completed , is your interview scheduling priority based on your priority date or the case completed date. for example my pd is Nov 21 , 2002 and became current in August 2015 but my case complete Date is Oct 25, does my priority date being current nearly 3 months now give me put me ahead in the interview scheduling queue? i hope explained myself clearly.

no it will not be a problem because you actually worked in that field , unless you were a thief or terrorist , then it would be a problem
