  1. You don't have to go to LA. You take your documents on signed to your bank and they will notarize your documents and then you slip it into an envelope, lick the envelope and close and attach the proper postage and drop it in the mail box. 30-45 days later you have your ROM. Most of here have done it that way so your not alone and it has proven history. You can do this.

Got any suggestions for a cheap notary public :(

Write in the two witness's you need any on your side so don't worry about that portion.

So just leave mine blank? Then add in the two witnesses (parents of hubby) on his side? Did I get that right?

  2. Hi VJers,

While I'm waiting for my greencard, I decided to this first. So, the Philippine Consulate will have a Consular Outreach in Las Vegas by September 24-25. How can we participate in this and reporting our marriage? Walk in basis? If there is a need for an appointment, how can we schedule? Any input is appreciated :)

  3. Hi VJers,

My cousin received her interview appointment via mail last week. What are the steps that she needs to do next for her and her two children? What are the documents that they need to prepare?

    TIA :)

  4. Hi VJers,

We sent out our AOS package last Friday. We used the express mail from USCIS and we sent it to the 131 South Dearborn address. Today, I tracked it and it still says in transit as the mail as been forwarded because the address was incorrect, or the zip code. I double checked the label we used and its correct. Any thoughts on this? I'm panicking.

    TIA :)

  5. Hi VJers,

    1. What's my A number?

    2. Form I-485 (AOS) the "Expires On" on the first page pertains to what? I-94 or the K1 Visa?

    3. Where could I find the Visa number? Silly question, but just want to make sure.

    4. Form I-131 (AP), Part 4 - is this different from the Part 7 supplement that you have to provide?

    Many thanks! :)

  6. Hi VJers! Here's my experience :)

    1. Arrived there at around 8:50 AM! Note to self, never underestimate Manila traffic!

    2. Processing of papers and the seminar itself is pretty smooth and fast.

    3. The issuance of the certificate and payment is very slow! Estimated time consumed would be 3 hours.

    Tips:

    1. Arrive on time! They won't let you in if you're late.

    :)
