i paid the aos fee, but the iv fee shows pay now but when i clicked it it shows 120$ paid.. there is no other available fees to be paid

how do i update that spreadsheet? so my 60 days waiting starts from march 12?

That's your "scan date".

Technically you are in for a 2 month wait but people are getting through a bit faster now.

im following this thread. my aos and iv package arrived at nvc march 12 but havent heard from them yet. hopefully soon..

thats good to hear. Im going to wait for this email then. i called the NVC yesterday to confirm that they received my aos and iv package and they did and they updated my email address too just yesterday. So hopefully i will hear from them soon

People are definitely getting reviewed in less than 60 days now. They were very backed up for a while but making good progress now.

hello, my aos and iv package arrived at the NVC March 12.. Who among you here is in this part? Is it really 60 days waiting? or is anyone got approve before 60 days? i know i have to be patient but waiting really drives me nuts and also scared if i might get an rfe or not.. lol.. thank u for the input

It is the same address but the IV cover sheet has a different department on it. is what I meant to write. You can use either the AOS or the IV barcode cover sheet. It is quicker to use the AOS cover sheet on both packet. Place the packets in separate manila envelopes and write what each one is IV or AOS, then mail together in larger shipping envelope to address on the AOS cover sheet. Once there the NVC will send each packet to the correct department

hi, im curious about what you said that the aos and iv package should have different cover letter. I just submitted my aos and supporting documents 2 weeks ago but i only used 1 cover letter for the entire package and it has the checklist on it. I was not instructed to put 2 cover letter. May i know where i can find the instruction saying that i need to have another cover letter for iv package? thank u

It can vary. my took 19 days. I have seen other members take longer, while some members got approval sooner. If it was something simple on the RFE it could probably be approve fairly quick

Hello, im looking at your timeline and i see the scan update, did you received an email saying that they scan it or it will show on the website? i just submitted my AOS package and supporting documents, and they received it yesterday, there is no update yet.

update. it got delivered.. 4 days delayed

the weather here is very good now, sunny and about 60 degrees, Its send to NVC in porthsmouth New hampshire. hopefully its not lost, its stuck in transit for like 5 days and no update yet, it suppose to be delivered 3 days ago.

Anybody have experienced this? i sent aos and supporting docs friday March 6, and expected delivery is march 9,, I tracked it online and the last update it says departed facility in midland texas and that was march 7, but until now i have not received any update. I called usps and the customer service told me that they are just waiting for that facility to transfer it bla bla bla. Anybody have the same experience?

I just submitted my aos and supporting documents to NVC. I'm the petitioner and im not working, I filled up the form I-864 for me and also the I-864a for my husband, we file jointly on tax and stuff.

yes i have read that too on their website, i got confuse because my friend that filed petition for her parents last year said that they were told to send the original certificates to NVC, but reading the website says just the photocopies and then bring the original to the embassy for interview, i guess i have to rely on what i read in the website.

question for petition of parents, My case is already in the NVC, for the supporting documents like Birth certificate of my parents, police clearance, marriage certificate of my parents, Are all of these needs to be original to be sent to NVC? it states in the instruction that just the photocopies needs to be send to NVC and bring the original to embassy for interview? 2 of my friends have sent original to NVC.. i just want to make sure.
