Just got off the phone with NVC. The interview is scheduled for May14th at 7.30 am.

we do enjoy hanging around here with you but i fear if i hang around too long i will start growing roots

CC on March 26th - Still no interview date. Has anyone called the NVC to see what is the holdup with getting all of us our interview dates?

My CC was March 13th and still no date.. its frustrating but... nothing I can do.

you should be making May interview..your CC was March 13th. Sometimes the emails come late..did you try calling NVC?

Calling them everyday in the evening....

They way its going for me ... I doubt I will make the May ... but nothing wrong to hope for it

Did you call the NVC and ask for interview date? If so, ask them to email you and your beneficiary.

I called and no interview is scheduled. May be have to wait for a June date..

Did I miss May interview? CC was on March 13th. I see lot of us have May interview date but none for me yet. Someone (Azim) got a May interview early last week with CC of March 10. I am afraid I missed the may interview date for Bangladesh.

How long does it take for the interview e-mail to show up in the inbox after it's scheduled? CC e-mail took exactly 7 days... like you guys said.

Its been a week since the last VJ member got an interview scheduled. Is this normal ?

Okay this is how scheduling goes. Every embassy in the world each month sends in their available slots to fill for CR1/IR1 interviews. As you notice everyone doesn;t start on same day because every embassy doesn;t snd in their information on same day. I know India is one of the last to schedule Whether its they are late sending in or it takes NVC that long to pug in folk I have no idea.

Some embassies that hardly have anyone (Iceland) their schedule is always open so you get CC you get interview scheduled same day.

They keep filling the slots until they either run out of petitions or they run out of slots.

Just out of curiosity, if the interview date is schedule by the NVC, why does it take someone 2/3 days and someone up to a month? I do understand that the actual interview date may very due to availability of the embassy where they will have the interview but why the discrepancy on scheduling it? Does the embassy schedule the interview date and time or NVC?

If the interview is after April 15th does my spouse need to take my 2014 tax return which I was haven't filed yet and was planing to file an extension.

i dont think my translation would work.

The police report i received by mail from Belgium is in French. I believe i need to translate it before submitting to NVC. This is for my Mom. any Idea where I can translate it that will be acceptable by the NVC. If any of you have used any service for translation please share your experience.
