All applications get sent to the Dallas lock box, at least for a k1 visa. From there they will assigned you a service center.
Oh okay, cool.
I was just talking to someone who said they filed at Texas and have been waiting 5 months, but maybe he's talking about a different form and/or a service center? 5 months seems incredibly long... Do you have any idea how long it take for the Dallas Lock Box to go through the I-129F?
Thanks so much for taking the time to reply!

Hi Guys,
I looked at the website of the uscis en this is the only only address I found to file our I-129F:
File Form I-129F at the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility:
For U.S. Postal Service (USPS):
USCIS
P.O. Box 660151
Dallas, TX 75266But I saw there were people here filing at other offices so I'm wondering if this is the right one for us or where we can double check whether it is or not.
We are located in Los Angeles, CA. (and Antwerp, BE ^^)
All advise welcome!
Thank you,
Nele

You can get married in the states under the VWP but you would have to LEAVE the states afterwards and apply for the Cr1 visa.
Op- you cannot go to the usa to marry with intent to stay.
Either go and marry and come back and start the CR1 or apply now for the K1 and marry when the visa is issued within 90 days of arrival.
I know being apart is hard, but no on will or can give advice for you both to marry and stay without a visa as it is against the websites TOS.
Thank you, yeah, I figured it out too...
It's okay, 6 months waiting isn't that much if we look back at the 18 months we've already been doing the long distance thing...
I just wanted to make absolutely sure that the K1 is the best way to do this.
Thank you all for replying, appreciate it! And good luck to all you

Hi Guys,
After researching and talking to some people I came to understand there are two options for filing for my residency. (correct me if I'm wrong)
1. We get married in the States and file for everything together there.
2. We file for K1, me from my country and he from the US.
I was wondering which one is the best way to go and if people want to share their experience on this?
Thanks already

Hi guys,
Me and my American boyfriend just got engaged last sunday. Very exciting and very happy
I am currently living in Antwerp, Belgium and we are obviously trying to figure out the best way for me to move to the US and spend the rest of our lives together...
So I was wondering if there are any other Belgians on here who would like to stay in touch with me and maybe give some advice on how they went about it?
I have so many questions!!
Was also wondering if it is best to follow protocol and just do the whole K1 Visa application from Belgium, or can we also get married in the US and then file everything from there together? I heard it's best not to visit the States while filing for the K1 and since I don't know how long that will take, it kind of scares me...I love our home in LA, I even like it better there than my place in my own country. All tips welcome!!
Thank you so much already,
Nele

Oh okay, I get it now. So they will forward the package to our service center?
I'm sorry your wait time is so mortifying! But the party when it's all set and done will be all the more amazing
I wish everyone on here could just come together at some point and throw a huge " YEAH WE MADE IT" party...
Thoughts go out to everyone who's kicking ### here!! Thank you for the reply!
