Definitely weird! Hopefully they will send it soon. At least the bio appointment means they are making some progress?? I'd call as soon as 30 days passes since they texted you.

Its very hard for a female from the Philippines to get a tourist visa.  Did I tell you very hard?   Not impossible though,  My wife obtained a tourist visa before we were married.   The items that helped her,  was full documentation from her employer that she was expected back to work after the vacation.   She had a bank account with some Pesos in it.   She also signed up from some forums and technical classes to assist her in work.  (she was a ESL teacher at a international school) In the state she was flying into.    It all comes down on how your present yourself, and how much you can prove you are going to return home when the vacation is over.  

Bringing your daughter with you, will make that decision even harder.   You have the odds stacked against you, but If you can spare the application fee give it a shot.   Dont lie,  and be ready for rejection.

No, it will not. Travel insurance is geared for injuries, and getting you back home. Alive or dead.

Got the "card in production" notice on the USCIS app this morning; checked the app literally a few minutes ago and saw that status has now changed to "case approved". You would think that it should be the other way around, but oh well.

so now, the wait begins for the actual card. any thoughts on how long that would be?

Using our case as a reference. You should get another update within 7 days with a usps tracking number when they mail your card

We got the text that we were approved last Friday, the 797 notice in the mail Thursday, and greencard in hand today. That's the fastest anything had happened for us. Good things are coming people!

We got our notice in the mail today (12/2) Then a few hours later, a text saying our card was mailed, with the tracking number.

the lady who did our interview said that as soon as they receive the updated medical form and everything is fine with that they will approve our case right away so I am quite optimistic. I am still a bit mad at my doc for making such a stupid mistake.

Will bet your not as mad as my wife. Think the only person she has not mailed is the President of the Philippines, she is bound and determined to get at least a partial refund. (since we still never received her ead or ap its entirely possible. )

Finally got the missing paper from my doctor and send it in right away. it should arrive tomorrow at the USCIS office so i hope they finally approve my green card

We mailed back the corrected I693, and our case jumped right to new card being produced. Then yesterday on 11/28 it said we were approved. Good luck!

11-22 post office delivered our RFE response

11-27 our status just changed to New Card Being Produced.

No interview! Never did get our ead/ap card

Just now, on a Saturday. Text message from uscis.

"New card is being produced"

1st rfe Sept 5

2nd rfe Nov 6

Yes, it really stinks

Think it all depends on who looks at the paperwork.

Wife used her maiden name as a middle name on both her 485 and social security card. Not a problem

Month later we decided to file for ead/ap the person looking over the paperwork, refused the paperwork unless she changed the middle name back to the old one. (Her mothers maiden name)

Not sure what is right or wrong, since thats the way its done in the Philippines, and Im guessing a lot of other places

125.00 dollars for a 3 minute medical, flu shot and transcribing vaccinations to a 693.

We are somewhere around 127 days waiting for AOS and 87 days for EAD.

Dont stress those reps at uscis. Ive called them 3 times and got 3 different answers. Finally said the hell with it, and paid 125 dollars for another medical with a civil surgeon. This is to resolve a 2nd rfe. If the waiting gets to bad, I will try a info pass. At least that way you get to look someone in the eye, and they cant hang up on you.

Most of the people here are using a app, available for free. I use USCIS App. Simple name and it checks your cases automatically.

I-3025. Praying this will be our last roadblock before a greencard is delivered. 89 days processing her EAD 127 days for AOS.

One question though. Our case was transferred to Virginia, we live in Tennessee. Anyone know why it would go to a state 9hrs away by car?

Personally, I would bring every piece of paperwork you have just in case. Along family photos,and joint bank accounts. Anything else you can use to prove your in a real marriage

Take a look at the pinned message in this forum. 631 or 3025. Tetanus is not one of the required immunizations.

If your 3025 is filled out correctly you should not have a problem. Considering your not from Manila, odds are good it is. Good luck in whatever you decide to do

Look at your DS-3025. If it has the ALL of the following items, you don't need an I-693 (Adults 19-49 yrs old).

1. Shots marked with a date (at least one of a series)

MMR (two are required but if you have "insufficient time interval" Code B in the last column, then you get a waiver)

Td or Tdap or DT or DTP or DtaP (One date must be no longer than 10 years ago)

Varicella (Either a check by "Vaccine" with a date, OR a check by "Varicella History" if you had chickenpox. History gets you a waiver)

Influenza (during flu season)** see note below because you may be okay without it. If it is not flu season, the waiver in the last column is Code F.

Everything else marked "not age appropriate" Code A, insufficient time interval B, not flu season F, contraindicated C...things that allow a waiver.

Well... that was painfully fast. The tier 1 refused to transfer us to a tier2. Even though we were told on Thursday to speak to one.

She said you must comply and follow the directions on the RFE. That means we are going to pay 125.0 for a simple transcription.

I sort of feel bad for whoever reads the email at St. Lukes today. ???

Going to call a tier 2 but, curious.

Medical in Manila. 3025 was filed incorrectly. Uscis sent us a rfe wanting a 693 completed by a civil surgeon.

Wife went on a emailing spree.. St Lukes corrected the 3025 and emailed it to her. Will uscis accept the corrected 3025 or should we pay for the civil surgeon?

Guesses? Opinions?
