Hey guys,
FO: New Orleans, LA. Filed 2/3/19, FP notice 2/9/19, FP appointment 3/1/19. I live 2 hours from the field office, but will try to walk in next week. I'm trying to get there around 8am; does that usually work? Want to make sure before I make the long drive!
Estimated case completion: 20 months (lol..)
Online processing time 14.5 - 21 months
Hopefully it goes faster than that. I was eligible to apply in October, but couldn't get around to it till now. Oh well.. better late than never!
Go for it! I just walked in and got them done, my Biometrics was scheduled for March 1

I just walked into ASC and got my biometrics done, I just printed out a copy of the notice and walked in.
The guys were very supportive and I was done in 15 mins.

The document should be available online within 24 hours.
Eitherways patience things will take there time.
Yep, I just checked the website and it shows the notice. I am scheduled for March 1. The ASC is also 10 mins away from my place, so I might give it a try and see if they can accommodate me.

I recognize you from the Jan 2018 ROC thread
Yes I saw your posts on the thread too, just decided to file as soon as I got my taxes done. Hope we get through this year.

Hi everyone, filed for N400 last night, it gave me an estimate completion by March 2020.
Still pending ROC approval. I hope filing N400 speeds it up.
-
Filed my N400 last night, this morning it tells me 13 months processing time for Chicago.
Pending Roc Jan 2018 filer @CSC

So Just submitted my N-400, still awaiting approval on --751.
Based on recent posts, I am being positive this will also push my case for an approval. -

My hubs just received his new green card in the mail today. Strange, we didn’t get any activity after the approval notice! Nothing saying the card was in production or on its way. USCIS case tracker and my account still say he was approved and the approval notice will follow. Oh well! Now, time to finish that N400 and then submit with tax return once it comes in lol
Congrats! Best of luck with the N400 journey! Hoping we all get approved soon...

I got approved yesterday! Card being produced and sent to my home. I'm sure yours will come around soon, if not already.
Can you share your first 6 digits of your file no.

Not sure if anyone noticed this, but I hope to see USCIS take action on this soon.

I wonder how did it happen that We have taxes for 3 years(just about to receive 4th)
3 years of marriage, almost 3 years of residency.
Are you sure you have just 2?
Yes, just 2 years taxes as I entered US in 4/2016.

Hi. Sorry to correct you again. Im sure we were not mixed anything. You can search all the conditions for apply us citizenship through marriage on google and on uscis website showed very clear that you have to at least 3 years of Permanent resident not 3 years married. However you got all set 🤷♂️
I am at 2y 9m of GC holding (my window for n400 opened up this week) However it is asking 3 years of tax returns, which I am not able to file for next 2-3 weeks. THe logical thought is to wait for the tax return and then file, do you think otherwise?

Hey! Did you apply for N400 before the approval or after?
30 minutes ago, Jessica Donahue said:Your eligibility will depend on the exact date of your greencard.
Whether or not you ". Given the current climate around immigration, we decided to go ahead with the process to have a sense of stability along with the rights and responsibilities that come with citizenship.
That said, if your "should" refers to possible delays in the I-751 process, my experience has been that it hasn't slowed down the ROC, I was just approved after 12 months which is earlier than expected. I hear varying reports, most people say if you're going to do it to use the online application.
I have not received the approval yet, I am in the 90 day window before 3rd anniversary of GC and wanted to check if I should apply or not.
-
Guys can you help me with your opinion if I should apply for n400? My wife is a US citizen.
Arrived in 04/16
I-751 filed 01/25/18
Got 18 month extension letter, awaiting decision.
Can I file for citizenship?
Congrats

Hi All,
Another silver lining! The minimum wait time decreased again to 15,5 months at the California Service Center.
(Beginning of this month it dropped from 18,5 to 17!) Maximum wait time has remained the same.Keep your prayers up that they cut another 2 months off the wait time every 2 weeks moving forward! lol
You just never know!
I don't want to be a spoilsport but the date went back to 2nd January 2017 from 11 January 2017 from last Friday.

So the Case tracker app notified me that my case is actively being reviewed.
A few minutes later I login, it shows completion time = Apr 2020 (previously it was March 2020)
