  1. I just got my the email and text saying that our petition has been accpted! Yay! Is that our NOA1 date or do I wait for the hard copy to update that in my timeline?

That's so great. Thank you for all of the info. I'll do all of that. I'm excited about this journey because I know it will be worth the wait. Good luck to us all! =)

Thank you!. CSC is really fast.It is not about complexity, they just work faster than TSC (aka black hole / hell hole ). If you sent all the documentation required and filled the form thoroughly be sure you wont have any problems. My fiancee got the NOA2 in his mail yesterday, just 1 month before he sent the I-129F. Im sure yours will be fast as well. I know every day feels like a month, it is the constant anxiety on "when we are going to get any news". We must be patients, I haven't learnt that tho. lol

Check Igor's list and other's ppl timeline, it will really help you to know when other cases from your beneficiary's country are beign processed, or have an idea the process times for your country

In case you dont have the links, I put them below.

Btw, dont forget to change in your timeline the consulate, it say Armenia. you can change by editing your timeline and picking a country in the "US Embassy" option

Welcome to the rollercoaster. Enjoy it =)

  2. Hi there. February filter here. Just got casse aproved last week, now waiting for NOA2 to arrive.

Best wishes for all of you, and I hope we can all have a fast process.

Wow!! Congratulations!! Soooo fast! How did you do it? Was your case uncomplicated and your petition front loaded? I'm hoping ours happens that quickly. I'm wondering how much getting approved quickly through CSC has to do with how complex or simple each case is.

  3. Thanks for the response!!

I'm very grateful to be in California. It's really unfortunate that people in other parts of the country have to wait so long. =( Wish it wasn't that way!

The NOA2 is the approval, correct? After the NOA2 the petition gets sent to NVC and then to the consulate. Seems like the Guatemalan Embassy gives appointments out fairly quickly. I really hope it goes quickly for us. I will be patient of course.

I'll definitely check the guides out. Thanks for the great advice!!

  4. Hi everyone,

I'm new here and was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this question. What does an open/shut case look like? In looking at how fast some cases are completed through CSC I was just wondering what made those specific cases get approved so fast. Of course everyone's case is different but are there cases that get approved faster? I'm hoping to organize my fiances petition so that it gets approved quickly. I think I've read that you all call that front loading? Our case doesn't seem complicated to me. Feel free to check out our story on my profile or ask questions. Thanks!'
