Hi all, this thread is seldom used but will post non the less. Had a scan date of Nov 17, 2014 and after all this wait, calling NVC but got no real update, biting of my fingernails to the nubs waiting for a cc, they had the nerve to send a checklist today for civil documents that were already submitted. I called NVC, asked to speak to a supervisor but the agent said none was available, would I like a call back? Lets see where this leads because I am not looking forward to another lengthy wait for them to re review.

Hi vjers, Ive been a bystander for a few weeks now but have decided to become active and share. I must say this is a place with a wealth of information and im so glad I found it. I have learned so much from everyones experiences.

Himanshu, I also lived in the U.S. for many years and am being petitioned for in the IR 5 cat. A police record was requested, not sure if it was from a checklist as my daughter has a lawyer handling documents.

I just had a relative of mine take a copy of my passport along with a notorized letter to the county court (in county which I lived) and it was done. Hope this helps
