  1. I went through the i601a process in 2014. Then, they received it in late October and approved it in early December but that was some time ago. You can go on USCIS.gov and they will give you the estimated processing times for your office specifically. The next step is finishing up with the NVC. They will complete their process, request any additional papers they may need then schedule the appointment. Good luck!! :)

  2. YES Patience is a virtue. But its only natural and being a human being to get a lil frustrated at the process when you have been in it for so long Especially when the journey is near the end. Each person going through this process is exhausted not only that, each person have their own personal reasons why they become a little impatient that they dont share on vj.So its very important for us to be sensitive, kind, and be helpful in anyway we can to help one another.Because for none of us the journey was never easy, and at some point in time in this journey we have all gotten angry, tired, frustrated and weary!

It's also important to remember that the National Visa Center process thousands of cases PER DAY.Not only for Mexico but for numerous countries.&& There are thousands if not millions of people on waiting lists to obtain a work visa or some other kind while the people in this forum have been given a BLESSING that they are able to obtain a visa within a year or so simply because they have a relationship with a us citizen.Keep that in mind.&& No never once during our case did I ever get frustrated. It's a blessing to be given a visa NOT A RIGHT and a negative attitude will surely get denied at the interview.Just saying. Not need to bash the people that are working hard FOR YOU and each and every other person attempting to obtain a visa.I'm sure they are doing their best...And notice I did say "Good Luck Im excited for you" to the guy. or girl ;)

  3. so basically ur interview was 2 months after case complete damn they are really slow, i hope its sooner

Um Well Yes case complete was Jan 15 interview date was March 20.They schedule about 2 months out.

I hope u realize that they schedule thousands upon thousands a day.

    Be Patient.

  4. I'm not sure if your asking if people had the same problem like with their computer lol or with having incorrect info on their ds260?If you are talking about errors on the ds260 then yes i have.I answered probably the worst question wrong and it's okay as long as when whomever it is goes to their interview they disclose that there was an error right at the beginning. GOOD LUCK!

  5. My husband entered Illegally without a visa and stayed here for over 7 years before we began the process and we too had to apply for a waiver. You must show proof of why you can't GO with her to her home country AND why you can't stay here without her.Ours was approved in 2 months no problems.Just make a table of contents, include pictures and letters from anyone else i.e family members that can help your case.Explain yourself well.As long as she doesn't have any criminal history other than entering illegally she should be approved as long as you make your case well.GOOD LUCK!

  6. If you made an error start first with NVC they may be able to correct. If its too late then you would just bring to the attention of the CO at your interview. And it depends on the error how big of an error it is. Long as you bring it to the attention of the CO it should be no big deal. You can not correct it once you have submitted it.

The question was "Have you ever been to the US?" & I attempted to answer yes because obviously he lives with me in the US,but it then asked for the arrival and departure date.I entered the arrival but no departure as he hasn't departed and was prompted to enter a departure date before continuing. So i made the mistake of putting no instead to the answer because I didn't have a departure date.I feel like that's the worst thing to answer wrong because It looks like we were trying to lie. :(

  7. As Said by others,

Yes They are sending your case to Nebraska,Go to Uscis.gov to get their expected time frame, and when our case was with them they processed it almost to the day of the expected time. You'll received your I-797 from the Nebraska service center and it will have the receipt number on the top beginning with LIN,once you have that check the case status at USCIS.gov because sometimes the time it takes them to mail you things is a few weeks delayed so you can get the most up to date info on that page. Once it was transferred to NVC they contacted me via email within 3 weeks with my case number and invoice.Good Luck!
