No, always at VSC.

Hi All,
We received and email today morning from the account on the new USCIS website that action has been taken on our case. After logging in the new website, it says “New Card Is Being Produced”. On the old website the case status still does not work for us. Our case was filed at VSC.
Kind regards,

The only change with real substance here (that I can see) is that it was previously not too rare to have both an AOS and ROC interview waived for K-1 applicants. It sounds like the general rule will be that they would need to interview for at least one of them.
I agree, but what about CR1 (I-130) applicants they dont have to go through AOS but just ROC. K1 (I-129) has to go throught both of them.
Keep in mind both K1 and CR1 has to go through an interview at a consulate or embassy in their home country.
So i assume this affects both CR1 and K1cases.

Hi All,

Hi All,
We are done with the biometrics today. No update as yet on the 18 month extension letter.

Hey VSC May Filers,
Quick Question, i received the biometrics letter with the same case number as the NOA. I have read earlier that folks received a new case number on the Biometrics letter. So did the folks who recently received the biometrics letter have the same application number (like me) or different case number?
In the NOA, it also said: Upon receipt of your ASC appointment notice, you can find the status of your case on-line at www.uscis.gov. To view the status of your case, enter the application number found at the top of the ASC appointment notice. NOTE: The I-751 form type will be listed as "CRI89" under the application type in our case status on-line tool.

We too received our Biometrics letter yesterday.
06/15/2018 - Notice Date
06/23/2018 - Notice Received

I was thinking it might have something to do with the volume/population in the local office/ASC, so I went back to check the States of those who have received Bio letters...
ocuevas has similar timeline with you and is also in NY, so now I don't know
oceana15 is in MA, and Yuna628 is Maryland, others unspecified.
Hi J&Y,
Actually there are 5 Application Support Centres, just in NYC. So i guess the one closest to me is overwhelmed.
Anyways, will keep you guys posted with the progress.

Hi All,
So i called USCIS today as i have been waiting for the Biometrics notice. Spoke with the agent, he asked for the following details
- Last Name
- First Name
- Date of Birth
- Country of Birth
- Last 4 digits of SS
After that he checked and confirmed that there has been no appointment scheduled for me yet for Biometrics. He suggested to follow up next week if there has been no update.
So will keep you guys posted.

Hi All,

Sevice Center: Vermont
Date of Mailing: May 07th, 2018
Date received: May 09th, 2018
I would recommend everyone to please update their VJ timelines as well please.

ok guys, so i just saw the update which says, that all the h1B applications for this year have now been entered into the system. So i guess now they can start looking into the I-751 applications submitted:

Hi PKR, it's not a requirement, although I suppose it wouldn't hurt.
I didn't send any passport size photographs.. i thought they were supposed to take it on the day of Biometric appointment.

and then this news just came in:
https://www.uscis.gov/news/alerts/uscis-recall-incorrectly-dated-green-cards
-
Furthermore, i found the below article which talks about delay in receipt notice for ROC of another type of conditional green cards:
Apparently, these folks are also in the same boat but they have been asked to wait for 90 days before even making an info-pass appointment.
So right now 60 days sounds better than the 90 days

Sorry for the late update. I called USCIS last Friday. I filed with CSC on 4/10/2018.
The whole process went smoothly, and the girl on the line was very nice. She transferred me over to Tier 2 without my asking. I told the T2 officer that I filed my application a month ago, and have not have my check cashed nor a NOA receipt. He said they've been getting a lot of calls from applicants, but were only just given confirmation the day before (Thursday, 5/10/18) that the waiting time for NOA receipts is now a 60-day wait limit (as opposed to the current 30 days). He said not to worry, and that it does not necessarily mean that the application was rejected or lost. They are backed up and the whole process, in turn, is taking a longer time, even for receipts. He said at this point it's best to wait it out, and to call again once the 60 day limit has been reached if the check still hasn't been cashed/NOA not sent.
At this point, it seems like there isn't too much else to do but wait, unfortunately. VSC seems to have finally gotten a head-start with processing the April applications, and we can only hope that CSC does the same soon. I'm not sure about the legality of status if your green card's expired. I would have asked but he called me back when I was driving, and I felt bad shouting into the speaker, and in all honestly, I'm not even sure if they would know..
oh wow !!! so i guesswe all have to wait 60 day now..
I was also looking at similar instances and i notice that whenever such circumstances arise, uscis updates such info in the news sections - as you can see below
https://www.uscis.gov/archive/archive-news/temporary-delay-issuance-i-129-receipt-notices
Since there is no such update yet, i looked around and noticed that that folks were reporting there concerns to CIS Ombudsman - Case Assistance If they have waited 60 days past USCIS processing times and have tried the USCIS customer service options listed above but still need help resolving a problem with an application or petition
https://www.dhs.gov/case-assistance
I hope this information helps

Hi all,
Many thanks for all the wishes from fellow visajourney members.
Secondly to answer the above question:
New website to check case status:
https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/
Old website to check case status:
https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do
For us, our receipt number never worked on the old website and still doesn’t work. However the new website has been fairly on point for us. We could only see the updates such as case received, fingerprint review completed, new card is being produced and case was approved all on the new website. Receipt number errors out on the old website.
Hope this information help and good luck to all
kind regards,
ConiMoni
