You know you are an Arab....

    1) You strap on an explosive belt, packed with nails and look for some civilians to blow up.

    2) You refuse to speak out against the horror your brothers and sisters are committing around the world because secretly you approve, and your silence is dripping in blood.

Yes, I am prepared for the attacks that will come because of this post but it is time to end this nonsense. If the terrorists are such a small part of the Arab population and don't have the support of the mainstream, then please tells us why they are so successful and there are no protests against the radicals like when some newspaper draws a cartoon.

Ilvasian U R just talking BS Its not the right place to post something u have against arabian people no one stopping u to do the same things in an arabic country . but u know what u might just be affected from the American war in vietnam and did u ask yr self if the terrorisme started there and beleive that your country is the first one started that because American people they want to make Vietnam as a civil country , and they dont want that but if you can look at the history u will find that the Arabian started the civilization a long time ago and theres a highly educated , and at least they descover the number - 0 -so i am just so sure when u talked about cartoon in a news paper , the Cartoon and drawing is an art which u dont knowa S about art except how to get the rice done from the farms.

I had to go down to your level so i can make u understand , and next time if u have something to say about arabian people say with all my respect and ask for permission other wise nobody will hear you , and the horror you talked about let me tell u that yr self live in a horror , So have some courage and have some respect to arabian withpout arabian u wont be driving cars now , u wont have bread , i know that u are not eating bread but only rice bread we all know that , Or if you are an american having a fiancee in Vietnam then u r not looking for a wife as much as u r looking for a houskeeper with meals in the time and bread prepared........

So let me tell u that the way how u talked about arabian is what makes arabian hates people like you and if you call yr self belong to civilization then u so wrong about that other wise u wont be talking like that .

  2. (L) Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww...this has been the best thread I've seen so far...I love reading every response.

Mine isn't my husband YET, but here's a beginning to what I love about my fiance:

He takes the time to ask how I’m doing even if he is in a hurry.

The way he says goodbye and says 5 or 6 ‘I love you’s’ and gives kisses in between over the phone.

The way he sings ‘I love you’ to me over the phone.

He is very gentle and always respectful.

How he treats me like a queen and treats my daughter like a princess.

He will do whatever it takes to take care of me and my daughter.

    He is a wonderful provider.

    He is a wonderful supporter.

    He has strong family values.

We both share the same goal that we want a loving and successful family.

He knows how to calm me when I’m upset.

He knows what I’m thinking or about to say sometimes before I know (I still haven’t figured this out)

He is able to share his feelings.

He puts his needs aside and puts mine and my daughter’s above his own.

The way he has connected to my daughter even though they have yet to meet physically. My daughter is an extremely critical and good judge of character (yes, even at the age of 7) and she KNOWS that she wants him to be her dad.

He buys my daughter clothes and toys just because he is thinking of her. (I think he’s bought her more things than me but I like that even more about him)

He LOVES and ADORES his mother.

He is extremely intuitive and intelligent.

He has the ability to understand how I’m feeling.

He has accomplished so many things already in his life.

Once he sets his mind to something, you can consider it done at that moment.

    He gets me.

He only focuses on the positive in any situation.

He is very well respected in his hometown.

He knows what is important in life and puts family first and at the same time enjoys the finer things in life.

He is leaving his family and friends and his entire country to start a new life to be with me and my daughter.

He is sooooooooooo excited about us having a baby together!

He will be a great dad.

He can tell by the sound of my voice-even when I try to hide it-that something is wrong.

He makes up his own jokes and what is the funniest is to see how he cracks himself up.

He is so thoughtful and caring and adoring.

I don’t ever doubt that I am loved completely.

He tells me he loves me for me and I believe him.

He has a soft heart and he loves that I have a soft heart too.

    I love his laugh.

    I love his voice.

    I love his beautiful eyes.

    I love his smile.

    I love his laugh.

And that's just the beginning...I could go on and on! I only have 2 more nights before I will be in his arms again!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY OH WHY does he have to be so far away?!!!!!!!!!! (L)

  3. Hey everyone. :D:D:D What a day! I have some more good news. When I got divorced, we had to sell our house. So I moved from the neighborhood my son grew up in. I rented a house in town. Kyle doesnt really like living here. He says all the time he wish we would move back. I was visiting the little elderly lady next door and the man that lives across the street came over. His parents lived 2 houses down in the old neighborhood. I was talking to him about the fact that I wished I could move back. He then says. I have a house for you. I said, Where? He said my mom and dads. He had to put them both in the nursing home due to failing health. Man, that was dropped right in my lap. So he said let me check with the rest of the family. I said ok. Today, he called, and I can have the house. He is going to give me an option to buy if I want. Kyle is on cloud nine. He has so many friends there. And the other great thing. My friend and her Algerian husband live across the street, one house over. I just need to get Hachemi here so he can help with the big move. Alhamdulillah. This has been a great day.

    Meriem (F)

That is such great news!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you and Kyle. It makes such a difference when the little ones are happy. Hachemi will be here soon to help with the move!!!!!!!!! I will send good vibes your way!

  4. Thas cool but seems Affidavit of support would come before it was approved?

I'm still learning the Visa lingo too. There are several steps to getting 'approved'. Check out the K-1 Time Table in the Guides tab near the top of your screen. Hopefully that may give you more understanding. Otherwise, feel free to ask questions!

  5. I leave on Wednesday night for a good friend's wedding in Italy. I know a lot of you haven't seen your SO's for quite a while, but I'm sad about being away from Wadi for only 5 days! I know it sounds crazy after all the time we spent apart. I wish he could come, but when we were planning, it just wasn't a sure enough bet to go ahead and buy the ticket.

I am definitely excited to back to Italy and visit my friends and some of our old haunts. I'll have to eat alone at Wadi and my favorite restaurants and call him on the cell instead!

Anyway, the next couple of days for us will be spent getting me ready to go!

Hope you all have a great day!

I hope you enjoy your trip. I can't imagine leaving my SO once he gets here either! How nice to think of him waiting for you at home though...

Well, at least I made it to Monday.

Had a very emotional Saturday, missing my man.... he'd been here for 4 weeks and the house was SO quiet. Decided to allow myself a pity party and wound up giving myself a migraine. I was SO SICK Saturday night.

Sunday morning, I dragged myself out of bed to go pick up my new horse trailer (yeah!), so there was a bright spot in my weekend.

Now I just keep checking the USCIS site every 5 mins to see if my RFE was issued.... pathetic, huh?

Have a ton of work to do here in the office and can't focus.. still have a headache... blah blah blah...

Now you're sorry you asked. :(

Sorry for the dump..... not having a good day... yet.

    Jen

Sorry about the migraine Jen, but I'd be pretty happy about picking up a new horse trailer too! My horse trailer is as old as I am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I second the checking the website every 5 min. You're not alone! I just read on the K-1 site that someone received an email from their senator that there are 5,000 RFE's being mailed out TODAY! Here's hoping that we are among the 5,000!!!!!!!!!!

I have swallowed my pride and registered with 4 employment agencies this morning. It seems after a 2-week lull in the local job force, there are a number of positions that have opened up FINALLY and I've been able to fire off several resumes as well. There is one position in particular I am more then interested in and plan on pestering them to death over the next few weeks. I just can't take this sitting around much longer. Neither can my bank account!

I'm sure you will hear good news soon. I have used temp agencies in the past and they've always been great in the meantime - something permanent always showed up once I started the temp jobs.

Can it really be? USCIS site says that St. Paul is processing I-485's from November 14, 2005!!!!! That's 8 months before our petitions was recieved?? Is it lying to me or are we really in for an 8 month wait??? Arghh - bad news.

Do the dates they give ever make any sense?! Here's hoping they are giving the worst case scenerio!!!

  6. According to the email I just got from my senator over 5000 RFE's will be sent today. Here is the email I just got a few minutes ago.

Below is an update I received concerning I-129F applications. It appears that they are sending a large amount of them out today.

    Tim Sullivan

    Office of Senator ####### Durbin

All I-129F receive on and after 03/06/2006 were place on hold do to a revise I-129F application. There will be over 5000 RFE sent out today to those who submitted the I-129F asking for more information.

This is the best news I've heard since my NOA1 on May 5th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU for passing this along!!!!!!!!!! Now, here's hoping ALL of us are in that group of 5,000!

  7. Whoever received this email got an RFE. The responded to the RFE. This is the USCIS acknowledging they received what was returned.

I STRONGLY suggested removing case/receipt numbers from messages posted to this board.

I STRONGLY suggested removing case/receipt numbers from messages posted to this board.

    I agree.

USMA... all of us here like good news... but better to be safe than sorry...

a person's case number is SENSITIVE information... like a social security card number... NO ONE needs to know that information... other than the person it pertains to!

YIKES!!!!!!!! I apologize if I've offended anyone. My intent was certainly not to spread sensitive information around but to spread good news to those who are in the same boat! This is news I've been waiting to hear.

You have taught me to be more cautious - Thank you!

Best of luck to all in their journeys!

    Brenda

  8. Whoever received this email got an RFE. The responded to the RFE. This is the USCIS acknowledging they received what was returned.

    Rebecca

I agree also. However, as someone who is in limbo after my case has been transferred from NSC to CSC and now currently waiting for the infamous RFE so that my case can get processed and approved HOPEFULLY before the end of this year, THIS SOUNDS LIKE GOOD NEWS!

I like good news. I want to pass as much good news around as possible...

  9. Yeah, even though my NOA1 was before yours. :P I´ll be behind anyway, since the stupid RFE hasn´t arrived!!!

I was transferred from NSC to CSC and have yet to receive the RFE too. The only thing I figure I can do is watch others who are getting their RFE's, sending them back and what responses they are getting once the service center has received the completed RFE's.

And then I sit and wait for the same thing to happen to me...:clock::whistle:

  10. I'm liking the sound of the email! It sounds like the service centers are still processing everything they can and waiting to get the RFE's back to wrap up the cases and get approvals out!

I copied the email from billsgirl:

    recieved this 2 mins ago.....

I´ll be on your tail to see if you do, ´cus that would be great news for me as well. :P
