  1. Congratulation. I sent email and mail to them on 17-Aug-15. Still no update.

Can you confirm the address and email where you sent this?

I sent to asknvc@state.gov and also sent mail to

    National Visa Center

    Attn: WC

    31 Rochester Avenue

    Suite 200

    Portsmouth, NH 03801-2915

I want to get it upgraded ASAP. Every time I call NVC they say they have not received any package from me.

Yes those two are the correct addresses

were you able to track your package being delivered and signed?

  2. We're on the same page... Requested upgrade from f2a to IR June 25,2015.case completed Aug.17,2015 but until now no upgrade has been done. Its been more than 60days... From 30 days to 60 days. Agents are not consistent.called for supv but wasnt able to talk to them insted they sent a req for rwview.. more thn 5 days no response from the supv.

Wow that is unbelievable over 60 days??? now I'm even more nervous about all this

  3. Hi everyone,

We filed under F2A category our PD is August 19 2014, our case was completed at NVC on the 28th of July 2015 and we were placed in line to be scheduled an interview until our PD became current, my husband became a U.S citizen and we mailed and emailed his certificate on the 19th of August

Do any of you know more or less how long it will take to upgrade from F2A to IR1/CRI?

Does it make any difference that our case was already completed ?

    thanks in advance

  4. Everyone needs to calm down count to three and breathe...

I made a mistake not realizing he doesn't need to prove anything since he obviously already has an unconditional GC, however if YOU READ,,,i said he can RENEW his GC or APPLY FOR CITIZENSHIP then I gave him my suggestion to apply for citizenship since he has found an opportunity and it seems he has established his life here , Im not going to write here how applying for citizenship could benefit him... the decision is only his,,, so all of you CALM DOWN

  5. Well your disinterest has gotten you here and when applying for citizenship you dont lose anything actually you only gain and you wouldn't have had to give up your U.K citizenship either.

Anyways even if she files for divorce Im sure you will have proof that you entered the marriage in good faith, you will be able to either renew your GC or apply for citizenship, i suggest you actually apply for citizenship as it will only benefit you and any children that you might have in the future.

  6. So, you are okay with being separated from your 8 years old daughter for two additional years rather then having your USC spouse file?

OP asked if his wife could file. No where did he ask for other options. You assume he didn't know he could file because, wow, YOU gave him the OPTION and now he knows. You gave him the option without considering the consequences.

Why are you so scare to answer if you would add 2 years of separation from your 8 years old daughter because the LPR should file rather than the spouse?

I totally agree with you on this one, whoever advised him to file himself didn't specify how much longer he would have to wait by doing this. Anyways the best advice is for your wife who is a citizen to file for your daughter as her stepmother, it takes much more less time than you doing it as a n LPR

  7. About a month or so wait after CC. Soon maybe you will hear if you get a September date. So when was your case Complete so I can add you to spreadsheet?

Hi, our case was completed on the 27th of July ,, we are still waiting for an interview letter...would you please add us to your spreadsheet? our case is under F2A category Italy

  8. The case for my wife and step daughter is already at nvc with all fees paid , ds260 filed for both and financial and supporting documents that will be received today in order for them to immigrate from Italy so basically at the last stage of nvc. I will become a U.S. Citizen soon , just waiting on the ceremony date , spoke with the nvc today who stated that once I become a U.S. Citizen my step daughter would be removed from the petition and I would have to file a separate I-130 and go through the whole process again?, is this valid ? Has anyone encountered this? At this point is it even worth upgrading my petition to a CR1 since we are not sure if we will have to wait for a visa for them once our documents are sent to the consulate in Naples? any suggestions? thanks in advance
