  1. Darnell and Hank, thanks for the help your suggestion worked!

She went to CFO without an appointment! I also emailed them Saturday in hopes they would read there email first thing Monday morning. They let her in and shes all set now, they gave her the stamp!

Her flight out is Philippines July 21st and she lands in the U.S on the 21st! Cutting it close to the 22nd expiration date! Iam still praying non stop!

  2. Question about crossing zones, so her visa expiration date says july 22nd, if she shows up at manila airport on the Philippines 23rd wouldn't it be the 22nd when she lands in the U.S.? How does that work, will point of entry honer it as long as its before midnight on the 22nd? Would manila allow her to fly out?

Or does she have to make port of entry in the U.S on the 21st?

  3. Thanks Hank, i went back to the web site, your correct I was looking at the wwwwrong info.

I was wondering about this also (Photocopy of Immigrant Data Summary for USA-bound emigrant (must not be detached from visa packet) except for K visa holder)

Does this mean there is no data summary for K visa holder or they just do not need a copy or its ok to remove it from the package if its there?

  4. We did not see the medical records because saint lukes sent them to the embassy, BUT, when she went to saint lukes to get the sputum results saint lukes told her she didn't have TB and they they would send records to the embassy, saint lukes also told her to be in the U.S by the 22nd of july. Then when she got visa it also said 22nd of july.

So there must be some kind of expiration date on saint lukes medical record.

I honestly cant say because I didn't see them.

But I do understand what you are saying about the 180 days, maybe someone here that has seen the medical records and hand delivered them to embassy can clarify? But then again maybe hand deliver is in a sealed envelope.

But yes I can try with the embassy and see what happens.

  5. I dont think Iam misunderstanding you.

You said (since the person actually printing the K-1 stamp at the IV unit made this huge mistake, the visa stamp can be redone.)

The way I understand it is the IV unit (embassy) looks at what Saint Lukes has for an expiration date and that is what they put on the stamp, (They can not deviate from the medical record expiration date)

There was no mistake from the clerk at the embassy printing the visa they are doing as they should and pulling it from the medical record, they can not over ride the medical record. Its saint lukes that made the mistake.

The other important part you are referring to is Please put <her name, her MNL#> on the list of authorized entries with your security guard team first thing in the morning. Please call her at <her handphone number> as she will be waiting outside at 11:45 AM to check in with the security guard.

PLEASE PASS THIS EMAIL TO A VICE-CONSUL

And sure we can sure try this Tuesday, but #1 they probably wont respond and if they do they will tell us based off of the medical date expiring there hands are tied.

Our best chance is to TRY CFO monday, maybe someone will not show up and she can fill there spot or God will put in someones heart to have compassion on her. If she gets through that then hopufuly I can find a flight out.

If that fails then tuesday be at the embassy hoping that they have read my email.

  6. I plan on emailing them tonight, but after watching a link on you tube the embassy does not set visa expire date that is from medical, and they will not issue a visa with expired medical date.

She already went there a week ago to beg and plead for her visa, but they absolutely would not let her in or even entertain phone calls, I emailed them explaining the issue and she still has to do CFO and be in the U.S by the 22nd and stressing the urgency and to pleases respond back to my mail, as you might guess its 2 weeks and no response.

Iam assuming she will have to retake the medical and hopefully not the unnecessary sputum test again. Then i don't know if embassy will just want a fee and re-issue visa or make her go through the interview again, and that would suck because they have most of our documents so she might not have everything again!

From what ive seen there's a few others having the same visa expire issue do to the visa printing delay.

Iam just very surprised that as long as this site/forum has been running that there's not some pasts history on what had to be done.

Maybe there is and I just haven't found it yet! lol

  7. Ok she has everything she needs and I have her a hotel room set up and she will show up at CFO to beg and plead Monday.

(Now back to my original question), if she doesn't make it to the U.S on the 22nd when it expires what next?

I sure the heck hope we don't have to start all over with a I-129F!

After all, theres nothing she/we did wrong, saint lukes used up 2 months of time for sputum only to find out she doesn't have TB. Then they do not give the visa 6 months they cut her 2 weeks short of 6 months.

Then after June 10 interview with NO ISSUES she just yesterday gets her visa do to the embassy inability to print visas and them choosing to issue behind visas in the wrong order..lol

Any of you old timers here know or have came across this before?

Thanks for any help on this

  8. Oh, I misunderstand, I understand now, thank you. This is SO STRESSFUL! lol

I dont think the embassy sets the expire date I think its saint lukes, because when she went there to get her sputum results they told her to leave the country by the 22nd.

But I think you know more about this then me, iam lost lol, so we will try.

    Thanks

  9. Ok we will try. this is on cfo site, are the times true? I thought I read somewhere that they don't divide country's up, everyone just shows up at 5am then they fill slots, but maybe things have changed since that persons post?

    United States of America

    Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

  10. First I want to say thanks to all of you that helps on this site, Its a great site that has alot of history and has helped alot!

Its been a very stressful last few months for many of us! lol

My fiancee had her medical on 2/9/15 and was told sputum needed so that delayed us a couple months, then after they give her the results they documented the expire date on july 22. Its not 6 months they cut us short a couple weeks and that makes all the difference in the world! I have no idea why?

We had to wait over 5 weeks just to get in for a embassy interview, then after she was approved just today she got a text from 2go!

She still has to do cfo, but when i go to there site to set up an appointment Friday and Monday are not available.

Shes not going to make it out in time, let alone if there is a issue at cfo, then finding a airline ticket might also be an issue!

So my question is what next?

Can someone guide us down the right path please? :(

  11. WOW! Only 2 months, there goes the 3 month theory..lol

Yea something very strange is going on at Saint Lukes when it comes to sputum and dates, its just way to inconsistent.

Do to the issue of not being able to print visas for a couple weeks and then issuing them to people that had most resent interviews instead of people that had there interview first Saint Lukes/Embassy are going to make ALOT of money making people repay the fees again.. Very sad..

  12. Hi Raider13255, Yes I have read the same from others that Medical exams are good for six months and is what the visa expiration dates are based on. Some say it starts the first day of the medical, if you do sputum others say it starts on the date you get the results back.

My girl was told by Saint Lukes and the Embassy during her interview that it will expire on July 22.

The first day of her medical was Feb 9th. She also had to do a sputum and results back on April 27.

So as you can see its not 6 months.

But comparing our case to yours it looks like they only give us 3 months after sputum results even if it cuts us short of 6 months!

Only God knows what top secret procedure they go by!...lol

  13. Congratulations! :) As for us interview was June 10th, absolutely nothing wrong with our paperwork, was told congratulations. Its now 31 days later and still know visa in hand, ceac just says (ready) updated july1st. Visa will expire in 10 days and still have to do cfo and find a flight! She went back to the embassy a week ago but they refused to talk to her and told her she had to call. But they have removed the call option also!! lol

Both her and I have sent emails with no response from them!

Looks like they are going to let it expire.

A couple of my friends here in the states were thinking about going through this process, I told them RUN!! Run from the thought of dealing with the U.S Manila Embassy and Saint Lukes unnecessary sputum 2 month delay only to find out you don't have TB, but we used up 2 months of your time lol!

Then the incompetent embassy, get online to make your interview only to find out there are no slots and you have to wait over a month, dragging there feet issuing the visa, not taking calls, turning you away if you go there and no response to emails!

Then the thought that some of my tax dollars is most likely going here to pay somebody's salary! lol

My advice to my friends, Try a different country maybe Japan or something!

  14. This is very aggravating process! lol I guess I will have my girl call the embassy to get an update. She had interview on june 10th, the last person that interview her told her congratulations, and that she can go home and wait for a text or email to come get her visa! lol Not hard to see the person that interviewed her does not know what they are doing. I went to ceac site shortly after and it said READY (updated june 15th) Then on july 1st it said READY updated (july 1st) I see a few people have already been issued and there interview date was well after my girls, so I wounder if something is wrong. For those of you that have been there I have a question, after your interview what was next? Did you leave or did you go to another window? Maybe theirs another window that you give your 2go information? Is this what she missed do to the interviewer telling her to go home and wait for a text? Do to sputum her visa will expire in 16 days and she still has to do CFO!!

  15. When my fiancée had her interview at the U.S. embassy on the 10th they told her congratulations, they said she is to wait for a text or an e-mail from them, then she comes back to the embassy to pick up her passport/visa. I thought they were to use 2go and mail it back to her?

  16. Hello All, I just wanted to post a update for others that might have had to console the interview multiple times.

Hank_ was correct, because we console the interview because of sputum (that was the 3rd cancellation) we did NOT have to repay another fee. Thanks for the help Hank_ and Greenbaum.

As for waiting 90 days to reschedule I cant answer that because by the time we got sputum results we only had to wait 3 more days to complete the 90 days, so we just waited. But we did not have to pay the fee again so maybe you wouldn't have to wait the 90 days, but not sure on that part.

ST Lukes only gave her a CD that says bring to the U.S for medical follow up, I sure hope they sent the results to the embassy, they have had 5 weeks to do so! My question is does she bring this CD to the embassy interview or just leave it at home? I guess if you cant take a flash drive into the embassy you cant take a CD is my thought.

  17. Hi xwind, question for you or maybe someone elso knows, The documents you listed, did they give any of them back after the interview or did they keep them?
