I'm in the same situation my interview is soon, I did like it said of the interview letter of the embassy I selected visa K1 and paid online, I printed the receipt and received a confirmation by email (they also ask you if you want to pay for the home delivery)

Here the confirmation:

"You have successfully registered on this website and paid the K Visa application fee. Here are the details of your transaction.

Please attend your Consular interview at the date and time assigned to you in your appointment letter. You must print this instruction page and bring it with you, along with the appointment letter, to the Consular interview.

For additional information on the Immigration Visa process and required documents, please refer to your appointment letter or visit the Consular Section Website at http://london.usembassy.gov/immigrant-visas.html"

We sent our k1 application on january 2014 and it have been approved at the end of october 2014, then we received the letter from london US embassy on biginning of november with an interview for the end of january 2015 (12 month so fare).

I had my medical appointement on the 25 of november 14, I received my interview letter on the 29 of décembre 14, my interview will be at the end of january.

FYI my petition have been approved by the NVC the 28/10 (letter received in USA on the 03/11) and letter from the london US embassy arrived at my home on the 11/11.

Also in November it only took me 1 week to get a medical appointement, I wasn't as lucky for my visa interview I finally have it, and it's 2 month after my medical appointement. (Medical the 25/11, letter with appointement received from embassy the 30/12, interview the 28/01)

I didn't have no proof of vaccin as I'm a french living in UK,the nurse there told me that it doesn't matter as it's a K1 visa but she gave me a list of vaccin to do once I will be in usa to get my green card, (she said I should do it in UK as it's free) I indeed had my appointement anyway, however when I was there I don't think they asked for my consulat letter but they did need my police certificate.. You can cancel without fee 3 day before maybe u should wait 3 days before to cancel if you didn't get your police certificate

Hello! They received my request by letter the 03/10/14 they sent the police certificate the 13/10/14 and I received it on the 15/10/14
