**The instructions will say it is the DS156 or DS157 but the correct one is DS156K

Como te digo, esto fue lo que me pidieron a mi, puede ser menos o puede ser mas dependiendo de tu embajada.

El certificado de nacimiento si lo van a necesitar traducir pero ya para el Ajuste de Estado despues de casados.. Ahorita no se preocupen por eso.

I was freaking out, but the EAD/AP are approved and on their way. I can breathe and relax now.

The USCIS site is still showing that they sent me the RFE, they sent it on May 3rd, we got everything together and sent it out on May 16, will it update to "received" at least??? How long does it take? :'( I've already completed the biometrics... its only been a month since the RFE but the package was sent in March!

You can go without it, but your process will be on hold until you send it to them (That is if you get a 221 (g))

It cant be a copy, it has to be an original.

The affidavit of support is mandatory, plus taxes for the last 3 years. if you want to bring anything extra like bank statements thats on you.

They have been useless so far... First with the instructions now this... but I´ll wait for them to reply. The documents I need to send are not here yet anyways

Hello! My visa application has gone really well, USCIS and NVC worked pretty fast (faster than we thought) BUT when the application came to the embassy in my country, they took too long to send the instructions to my email, because they messed up the email address and sent it to somebody else.

Anyways.. I finally got them and was able to complete the paperwork and schedule an interview, but the earliest date was Oct. 16 and the application is valid until Oct. 2nd... Will there be a problem? will I need to do something else to make sure it stays valid until my interview? Im calmed because it was their mistake, but they can be pretty irrational at times
