  1. Por ser la embajada de Mexico, no es necesario que traduzcas nada, las instrucciones lo van a decir... puedes ir adelantando los papeles porque son un monton. Esto es lo que me pidieron a mi:

    1. Appointment Confirmation…………………………………………

    2. Passport……………………………………………………………………..

    3. Police and Court Certificates from Mexico……………

    4. Visa application Form DS160……………………………………..

    5. Supplement Form DS156K**…………………………………………

    6. Original Birth Certificate…………………………………………….

    7. Relationship Evidence………………………………………………..

    8. Medical Exam……………………………………………………………..

    9. Affidavit of support ORIGINAL

    a. Original Form I-134…………………………………..

    b. Copy of Tax Return (3 years)………….

    10. Visa Photos…………………………………………………………………

    11. Extra Documents……………………………………………………….

**The instructions will say it is the DS156 or DS157 but the correct one is DS156K

  2. Hello! My visa application has gone really well, USCIS and NVC worked pretty fast (faster than we thought) BUT when the application came to the embassy in my country, they took too long to send the instructions to my email, because they messed up the email address and sent it to somebody else.

Anyways.. I finally got them and was able to complete the paperwork and schedule an interview, but the earliest date was Oct. 16 and the application is valid until Oct. 2nd... Will there be a problem? will I need to do something else to make sure it stays valid until my interview? Im calmed because it was their mistake, but they can be pretty irrational at times :(
