It took 3 weeks after our interview for us to receive his visa.

Checked status today, visa listed as issued. Maybe it will be picked up on Monday.

Just a quick question, whereabouts will it updated to say "ready" - on the Visa status check link frias1983 provided, or on my own Immigrant Visa sign in page that the NVC gave me, the one where we logged in to pay our fees, submit our DS-260 etc.

Yeah I didn't think they scheduled it for me, I just wasn't sure if the case had to have reached a certain stage before I was allowed to schedule it. So I'd need to wait for my interview letter?

you will it at the NVC website...once it says in transit it will say the NVC already scheduled your appointment...do not go by that, that is just a generic message that the system generates...like I said u just wait till system says ready to schedule appointment.

It will say that in the updae, then it will change to "in transit" and then it will change to "ready" In my case I was able to schedule my own appointment once it said ready. I scheduled fingerprints appt and interview with them, in the Dominican Republic you do not need and appointment for medical, but I know every country is different. SO just wait until it says ready to contact the embassy for further instructions

OUr case was expedited and we had our interview on 5/21, since that day our case has been on Admin. Process. On Monday CEAC website said Ready for interview, when I had already had it on the 21st, then later on that day it went back to Admin Processing, and it still saying that, however, my USTRAVELDOC page says "Document Delivery Information" since yesterday, but no information is given. HAs anybody ever gone through this, I am very confused! Please help!

Not at all, they actually send you your old passport after receiving your new one.

Ok the case has been received by NVC on 5/4/2015 and i was told to allow another 4 weeks to get the case number but to be honest with you i dont trust them as i have seen many approval petition have been assigned a case number in a week or two

You never paid IV or sent papers? I sent my AOS and IV package, but havent paid IV fee yet.

I had already paid my AOS when expedite was approved, then everything got sent to Embassy in DR the next day, so I will be paying for IV at the interview.

I have interview scheduled for May 21st!!!!! I called the embassy but they said just to wait until the ceac website said ready, as soon as it did, I called them back and scheduled appointment!! :jest:

You definately can try, make sure you show enough evidence. That is what,I,did and got approved

After you pay the AOS fee you can send both packages together, AOS envelop in one envelope, IV package in other envelope and both of them together and one big envelop

NVC approved our expedite request last Thursday 04/23 and package was sent to the consulate in DR on 04/24. I tracked t through DHL and it was delivered Monday 04/27, however, ceac website still says "in transit" and cannot schedule my appointment until that has changed to "ready". Can someone tell me if there is anything I can do so I can schedule our interview.

You just have to go to the city hall of the city the divorce took place in and request it. I think it is a $20 fee if I am not mistaking.

Not a problem at all, you are actually required to take all originals to interview, even if it is not necessary, I would take it anyway. I would also take your latest pay stubs, like I said just in case.
