  1. My Husband Arrived here on Thanksgiving Day. I give all praises and Glory to God. Visa fee was paid before he left. (IR-1 Visa will be given). Thank you so much my VJ members. Dwheels as usual you are the best. God will continue bless you for all you are doing. The one thing I must say that I learned is to continue to Trust the Lord, even during delays. Good luck to everyone, wishing everyone happy endings.

  2. Just an update my husband dropped off the required paper work and his passport to the location where you would pick up your visa yesterday, after they made sure he submitted the right documents, they gave him the white sheet of paper with the circled location to pickup the visa in 5 business days. I pray the paper work is sufficient enough. I will not be at peace until visa is in his hands.

  3. Congratulations to you all. So happy for you guys?. My husband had his Interview on the 5th too, they said Congratulations, but tell your wife to bring in a new AOS, joint sponsor, tax documents and his passport. ( Weird because we had no issues at NVC) Anyway he will drop off everything tomorrow and hopefully this will be over soon.

  4. OK all...hubby got home and we had a chance to talk about the Interview. Hubby and daughter arrived at the consulate around 9:20 for his 9:30 Interview. He went inside and got his number. A female CO was nice enough to see him with a sleeping5 year old, ask him what number he had and clearly helped to move him up in queue. He went to the first window where he spent about 5 minutes handing over original birth cert for his daughter, police certificate and passports. He was told to sit down and listen for his name. He was called not too long after than to a different window where he was shown a pic of me (the passport sized pot that was sent in the with G-325A) and asked if that was his wife. He said YES and the interview began...She said "tell me about your wife"

    1. When and how did you meet your wife?

    2. How old were you?

    3. How old is your wife's daughter and what is her name?

    4. How old is your daughter? (the CO found it cute that both our girls are 5)

    5. Has your wife ever been married? (she insisted yes even though the answer is no, but when he held firm on the no she reviewed the paperwork and apologized to him)

    6. Have you ever travelled outside the country? she asked about trips he took to England as well as his many trips to the US and asked if he had ever overstayed on any of the trips.

    7. Did you get married on your last trip to the US?

    8. What happened to the relationship between you and your daughters mother?

He says the interview was more of a conversation rather than a Q&A session. He says both COs were pleasant and nice. She told him he would received his passport in 2 weeks.. She did not ask for any of the evidence he brought in. He spent less than 2 hours in the embassy.

Congratulations! I am so happy for you?

  5. Sorry I'm so late, I have been extremely busy and haven't been online. I had my interview on November 5th. Our interview went pretty well, the CO asked the basic questions like, when did we get married, where do I work, my job title, at the end of all the questions she said Congratulations, but tell your wife to send a new AOS and my tax returns, and a joint sponsor, and his international passport. I was so confused about that because I really thought all my finances were in order, and NVC didn't say anything was wrong. Anyway, I quickly gathered all the documents needed and sent it off. He will drop everything off tomorrow. Hopefully this will be over soon.

  8. Hi everyone,

I have a question. As you know our 2nd anniversary passed on September 2nd. I noticed on the email the embassy sent my husband it still shows our preference category as CR-1. Should I email them about this now.. or should I just have my husband bring it up at the interview?

I am thinking to email them..but I am nervous it will delay things again.

    TIA

My 2nd year anniversary passed August 30th and we received our CC on Sept 2..... I got my confirmation email Sept 10th and it has IR-1 for the Visa Category......so I'm guessing it depends or maybe you should make them aware, I'm not sure.

  9. That is amazing news!! Congrats!! You have no idea how much hope you give us all!! Hopefully the trend continues 15-21 day review, and for all of us to get CC soon! Please let us know when you get notified for the interview date! I also want to thank you for having such a detailed Timeline, as it helps us all!! :)

Msjc....thank you so much....I hope it continues for everyone. I will keep everyone updated. I' m glad my timeline could be of some help. Good luck!!!!!
