  1. I'm not going to argue tax law with you. But I will inform you that wherever you decide to marry, if you would like your lovely bride to live here in the good ole' U S of A, you will be required to fill out the form I-864. A part of this form requires proof of the past three years of taxes.

Stating to USCIS that you can't pay taxes because the cost of living is too high, gives them a valid reason by your own admission to deny you on the grounds that you can't prove that your bride will not be one a public charge.

If you love the girl, you will eventually have to pay those taxes.

I'm not here to aurgue either Jenafid, I appreaciate your advise. Appearantly love is gonna cost me this time around, hehe:)

  2. Hey Folks,

Anywhoozeez, long story short. I met a girl who lives down in Chile that I want to spend the rest of my life with and build a future. We are planning on getting married this coming summer up here in Seattle WA. There are a few dilemmas I know I am going to run into on this journey, I'll explain-

Over the past 3 or 4 years I've decided it’s against my moral code to give the federal mafia (IRS) anymore of my property (wages). As most Americans now know the income tax goes towards paying for the war machine and the interest on the national dept. So I've been claiming exempt on my w-4s and haven’t filed. I know the system requires one to be tax compliant and show 3 years of back taxes, the word #### plagues my mind every time I think of this.

Soooooo, I was told by a darn smart fella named Randy Stroud who runs the website http://sovereigntactics.org/ (This guy went thru the same BS that Im going thru now)... That In order to get around this and show financial support I am to get 4 Affidavits of good character, co-sponsorship and financial support. Show them everything I can about my finances BUT not set myself by bringing the back tax issue up. BUT if asked why I don’t have back tax information tell them it’s because I’m exempt nor qualified to act in the capacity as a trustee of the federal income tax code while earning my wages, or that I cannot afford to pay the irs because of the high cost of living and my low wages in Seattle. Does this sound plausible so far?

Another question, would it be easier and less bureaucratic if I were to get married down in Chile and then bring my Girl up to the US?

Could any of you point me towards a basic article that steps you thru this process and the proper forms to fill out? Thanks and hope to hear from you folks very soon.
