    hi guys!

i entered the us on sept 6, 2018 on a k1 visa. i checked my i94 status online and i got it/my record the day after i arrived. the thing is, i keep checking my SAVE program status online on their website and up till now whether i check my i94 and enter my i94 record number or i do my passport and enter my passport number, it keeps showing that "no cases found that match that criteria". so it's been 2 weeks since i have literally arrived and up until now my name is not in the SAVE program yet. I was trying to wait for my record to show on the SAVE program to apply for an SSN before i get married, but unfortunately with everyone else in both my husband and my family's schedule we had to get married last sunday sept 16, 2018. so now i have to get my SSN after marriage. we might even have our marriage certificate by this friday already. I emailed the SAVE program and they said i had to contact the other office and that the SAVE Program doesn't deal with uploading cases to the system.

    what should i do?

    1. should i go to the SSA with my passport, birth certificate and i94 and hope they find me in the SAVE program?

    2. continue to wait for me to be verified in the SAVE program before I apply for an SSN?

    3. Start calling the CBP about my record on the SAVE program?

    4. other suggestions? thanks!

I would really do number 3 but I remember we got married went down to the SS office after marriage and applied for her card which she received about two weeks later.

  2. We sent in I485 and I797 OcT 20 2015. I got an RFE on I485 and I forgot to sign one spot on 3rd page was asked to re-mail whole package. We did next day overnighted it. They wrote us back and said that they would start working on I485 again as of 12/17/2015 we just received her green card or EAD card today in the mail. I was wondering how long before we would get a call for interview? We have done biometrics and that is where we stand as of 1/19/2016. If anybody could maybe give me a timeline of when we could expect an answer on I485? I did not expect RFE and it was so simple mistake my fault but they started working on that 12/17/2015? Any Info much appreciated Thank you for your time!!!

  3. I agree it is so much easier for us the US Citizen to go there my fiance worked in Thailand as a singer and I went and stayed there probably 12 months out of 2 years and we had no problem getting her here. We have a baby and I got the babies citizenship right away and from there really quick and today will be our first New Years together in the same place :-)

  4. I did it myself and it was tedious but not hard just a lot of paperwork and we were very fast. Met my wife 3 years ago this May submitted I129 last December 19, and if it was not for a shadow on her x-ray in Thailand medical which turned out nothing there with updated x-ray machines she would have been here by May but we got back July 22 2015 and that was after a stop over in the Philippines which was suppose to be a week but you have to take a course there which delayed us another 2 weeks. We are married waiting on our I-797 and I-485 did Biometrics but got RFE because I did not put my name on page 3 of the I-485 at the bottom it gets hidden there so watch but was cheaper and not difficult to do paperwork. She would I think like to meet a friend here we are located in upstate New York so message us if you are close to Poughkeepsie,NY.

  5. I am very worried but not sure if we should be. We filed G-1145, I-485, G-325a, I-864, I-864a and I-765. We sent all the documents that were needed such as taxes and W-2's and Cover Sheet and everything that was requested. Also two money orders for the full amount for AOS and the EAD. I overnighted it to Chicago Lock box with a return receipt requested. I got the receipt back that it was signed for on 10/27/2015 but we have not gotten any emails or texts or any receipt numbers and we are going to be 2 weeks and 2 days since they received it. Our question is this normal or should we be worried. Any input would be very appreciated.

  6. I am worried now because I see that our I94 expires 10/28/2015 and we are going to try to get SSN tomorrow which is 10/23/2015. We came in on K-1 and we are filing our I485 EAD and AP papers tomorrow. If anyone knows for sure if we will have problems please let me know ASAP......Thanks everyone!

  7. Well I think she might need another vaccination. We also got held up because they saw a spot on her lungs but went through speutum test and had to wait 10 weeks for results which came back negative. Another thing we went to get her SS card today and the representative told us that when we came into POE they should have given us the I94 and some stamp on the visa. Now I download and printed the I94 but no stamp and I am not sure where we would get this and I asked the person at SS and they did not know either so I am at a lose again. Also can I go to any doctor because they keep say civil surgeon and nothing is real clear on these matters. The first part was alot clearer then after we have gotten visa and to the U.S. Thank in advance for any info.......

  8. When we landed at our POE we were told that we must have the medical documents to a doctor here within a month. I asked my doctor why is this and he said he was not sure. He also said probably needs another vaccination. We have to get married and have until October 29 2015 and we have it scheduled for September 19,2015. That is when she will have my benefits. I am more than willing to bring her to doctor's now but I am not sure if it is going to give us trouble or can we wait for the benefits? Does anyone know or have had this problem and what should I receive from the doctor here for my I 485? Anyone with information would really help us out. Thank you and hope everybody is doing well in the journey....

  10. K1 has gone really fast for my fiancée and I and hope it starts happening with everyone! I have a question it says on the NVC site that I should have had to do more things before it was sent to Thailand. I called NVC last night and asked by case number and the person told me the case was sent yesterday to Bangkok. So I am not sure what is next. I am flying to Thailand next Tuesday Feb 24,2015. I am bringing all paperwork original packet sent, also collected all Financials documents also 134 document filled out but they never have asked for that yet. So the thing that I am worried about am I going to be alright going there or will am I going to leave and get paperwork here and now be in Thailand can anybody answer this question. I am binging 134 and all taxes for last 3 years and bank account printout for last 3 years and also my lease for proof of my domicile place in USA so should I worry? Any advice would be appreciated.

  11. Yes I just got through to NVC about a 28 minute wait. You will get that automation saying all workers are busy I just kept hanging up and calling and it finally went to a holding pattern. I was sent to NVC on 1/30/2015 they already had a case number and it will be shipped to Thailand soon. Also when you call make sure you have Reciept Number Full Name of Beneficiary and there birth date, Goodluck to everyone and the reason why they have been slow is that they have gotten over 4 feet of snow and there is two more storms coming tomorrow and this weekend.....

    James.

  12. I am confused again my approved I-129 was sent to NVC on January 30,2015. I was wondering is there anymore fees. I paid the full amount for K-1 when I sent the petition in. I think it was 340.00 USD. The reason I ask is because when I went onto the State Department Site they were talking about fees and some other paper work that will be needed such I-134 I have been getting all of that together Taxes, Bank Statements, and Assests plus I-134 form. I was going to fly back to Thailand on the 24th of Febuary and stay with my fiancee and baby until we all can come back to US after visa is granted. If I do go there is it going to impact my case or is it ok to go there and I can DHL the forms they want or is it best I stay in US until it is sent to Thailand Embassy? Now the baby is all set she has US Passport and can come at anytime so any thoughts would welcome please let me know ASAP because I want to purchase ticket before hand so I can find a deal better than paying day before at very high prices. Thanks and Goodluck to everyone on this journey what a road!

    James.

  13. On January 26, 2015, we approved your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number . We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Does this mean that they will be sending me the NOA 2 or is it that they just touched it. Please let me know I am not sure what to think...

    Jim.

  14. I think that being positive is best but do understand when someone needs to rant once in a while. This is a hard process and can be depressing and some good days and some bad days but we should all except what people have to say even if we might agree or not agree. It seems to me we have all had days when might just think we have a little more visa rage than others so I think everyone should give everyone a break and just listen and try to be positive when you are having a good day...

    Hope everybody's journey gets a kick !!!!!!!

Goodluck to all May 2015 be a great year!

  15. I went on to the US Embassy site for packet 3 and it says that I should wait for the Embassy to come back and tell me what I need. I would like to start the process now though and for some reason I get a form Cambodia and my wife to be is from Philippines but interviewing in Bangkok, Thailand and I expect to be there sometime by February. I will be bringing everything original. I have my fiancee starting on medical so the immunization record will be fine. Also having her work on NBI for the Philippines. So I need Police Certification. Also Taxes for three years and any other suggestions that could help us?

    Happy New Year!!!!

  16. Thank for the info don't mean to be dumb but Ning said to download packet three from what website US Emabassy website or Thai Embassy Website?

I did not get the I-129 sent into the lockbox until 12/20/2014

12/22/2014 signed for at the lockbox location.

12/24/2014 Recieved Email and Text for NOA 1 so hopefully sometime next week will get hard copy. I have fiance working on NBI she is Filipinia, also medical so blood tests to make sure shots are up to date. Now I am going to fill out the I-134, but I have a question I am disabled and get money from the government but I don't think that will cut it so my mother who lives at same residence we share bills she will co-sponser so my mother needs to fill out I-684 and get tax returns correct. Any input would be much help want to get on this ASAP so I can get in front of the process.....

    Happy Holidays!!!!
