Hi everyone,

Please help me as I have no clue what to do with it. 

My mother has applied for my brother and now NVC sent us an email to proceed further with his case. I have paid the fee and submitted DS 260. 

Right now working on his form I864 and I am so confused when it comes to part 5 as my mother is a sponsor and she doesn't make any money right now. I am a joint sponsor. 

When it comes to part five I don't know how to fill it. My mother lives with us and is my responsibility so does she has to show the same numbers of households members as many as I do? 

Is my mother going to use my husband as a family member or am I going to use him? My alone income should be okay but I would like to add my husband as a household member.

I will highly appreciate the help.

Anybody here who got WL in PD March 2014

Now you will sign in online with the case number and ivsc number and pay fee then start filling the application and submit it. Then financial documents with supportive docs.

Yes, I did and I already paid the fee as well. Just have to wait for his passport to be renewed in order to fill his application and get his police report. Good luck to you as well.

Let me tell you when I got my welcome letter having my priority date on 8th November 2011 (way earlier than yours).

I got my welcome letter on August 15th. 

Submitted everything on August 29th.

Got COC on September 5th.

Took a bit over two weeks to go from Welcome letter to COC.

In all honesty for the people with PD in June, REALISTICALLY it's probably another 4-5 months wait in the best case scenario.

Yes, I just paid the fee. Now  I need to complete the application. Then he would get the interview date. My brother's passport is expired and he needs to renew before he gets the police report. No, his case was processed very fast at USCIS as well. It only took him a year to get approved. What does COC mean? God is great and we are thankful to him.

Hey guys. My brother is for F2B with pd 8/2012, When do you guys think we will get any thing for him for NVC. I mean WL or so. We have not heard anything from NVC accept the first email with his case number for 5 year or 6 years ago. Hes from Pakistan and my mother who lives here applied for him. Please any insight would be highly appreciated.

Hey guys, 

I have question for you? My mother has applied for my brother for FB2 his PD is August 13, 2012.. We just moved to Portland form Wisconsin. I have filled the form to "askNVC" how to update the address but have not heard anything back. What should I do and when would we get any letter or so for the NVC process? The fist and last email we have gotten from them, when they assign him the case number about  4 years ago... Please help me with the process guys. I will highly appreciate that.

LOL, You are not going to be a stickler. I absolutely know that. All I want to know when Do NVC would contact us for the paper work or so ? Do they start early like a year or two prior to that or do they contact you when your PD become current?

Hey guys, how can I add my brother's pd with in all these pd. His is August 13,2012.

HI guys, So my brother's PD is aug. 20th 2012 for f2b case, when do you guys think his case will be completed and when should we contact the NVC. We have changed the phone number should we email them to update the contact number or not. Any thought would be appreciated.

My mother learned the 100 questions in English, it took some time but we practice for about 4 months.

She was 55 at the time but only resident for 5 years at the time.

If your mother is the petitioner for your brother, I believe it will be faster.

How about when she went to the interview and the interviewer asked any question besides that or asked how is your mother doing, I mean a little casual conversation. Did she write one question and read one as well. i did not mean to bother you, I will really appreciate your help.

Citizenship:

for personal experience, my father did the citizenship exam and interview in Spanish ( I interpreted for him). He was allow because he is over 50 and have been a legal permanent resident for over 20 ( 50/20 rule). He still had to learn the 100 civix and history questions.

My mother, non English speaker had to give in English after 5 year of being a LPR.

I have a question for you guys. My brothers pd is Aug 20, 2012 for F2B visa. How long he has to wait in order to contact to NVC. Second my mom is about to complete her five years but she cant speak English could she still apply for a citizenship or not?

Hello. My mother in law applied for her son over 21 last year. She is a permanent resident. Last week received a letter from USCIS saying the case was approved and was being sent to NVC. The case is F2B. Does anyone know what happens next. I don't think the priority date is sitting back at 2006 cases and this was filed on 2012.

Which month did you mother in law applied for him. My mom applied for my younger bro over 21y as well on August, 2012 which was approved in Dec,2013. Right now they are processing 2008's PDs. Any news from NVC for you guys or just waiting like us?. Good luck.
