No he picked up from peshawar. He got a call after 4 days to pick it up after interview. And goodluck everyone. IA it will be over soon

My husband had interview on 19th and on 20th status changed to issued. Thank god. They didn't ask him anything except my place of birth and show few pics and since that day I delivered a baby so they said wow go to america and enjoy. N they gave him back all documents n said ur approved

I have seen people reporting here getting there passports in just couple of days if they pick in isb.. and i've heard it takes about a week if picked in khi..

re: your fee question: i've seen experienced ppl giving advice to pay online with a US credit card before flying.. i think it be better if you paid online rather than your husband, may be someone who has gone thru can chime in to clarify..

Did they say u got approved at the interview? Did u get the passpord n visa yet?

At the interview they say u will get passpord in 2 to 3 weeks. But I'm seeing here people get visa in hand in 3 days too. That's possible right? Bcz my husband already booked his ticket. .didn't pay yet but booked it so just wondering

Your husband can definitely travel the next day after getting visa in hand.

Just make sure your husband pay the green card fee before leaving Pakistan so this way there are no delays in his green card.

Thanks . have not yet got my passport. Interviewer told me that u will gt ur passport with in 2 to 3 weeks. my status changed from administrative processing to issued on 21st jan 2015.. ,My interview was on 20th jan 2015...what is the date of ur interview if u dont mind ??

Congratulations for the interview date.

Advice: Don't even think to plan to request early date... They will stop the paper to forwarding, and the consulate will start considering the plan of new date . If no new date will be available, we can loose this spot tooooooo.

I know the need of your husband next to you at this time is very important but This is just my suggestion . Rest of all is up to u. Take care of yourself and the coming one. Stay relaxed. U need more calmness now then ever for the sake of the " Mother & Child ". U r a doctor u ,u know well. Again congratulations.

ya i guess ur right. okay i wont request than. but lets say his interview is on 19th feb. and IA gets approved since i dont have any checklist. so when can he recieve his passport n visa so he can travel? i told him to book flight for feb 26th in case

CR-1 visa for my husband. my cc date was december 18th. and got interview date for 19th feb 2015. last scan date oct 28th and november 10th.

Hey guys, how long should I wait to request an earlier interview date after I get assigned the first one? Let's say tomorrow I find out that they have scheduled me for early February... Should I email and ask the embassy right away?
