Finally i can post on this thread. I have been reading this thread for a while.. I just found out today that my interview is scheduled for 3rd december INSHAALLAH! At 7 am. I am from karachi so i will be travelling a day before the interview. I have had my Nikkah in 2013 and ruksati is in january inshaAllah. I am a bit scared because of this..but surely they must encounter so many people who do that. I have to be strong with my relationship evidence, and for that i have call logs, pictures, money transfer receipts etc. Also me and my husband know each other since 2005. Our nikkah was also done on a grand scale and i have tonnes of pictures from the event. Anyone with similar experience can shed some more light on this? How to go about it?

Guys, i called nvc. I just got off the phone with them. And they asked me if i am sitting down because she said my interview is on nov10!!!!! Thank You Lord!!!!! )) so happy here.

Try to call them because they might be able to give you yours now.

Guys just got off the phone again for the third time i talked to a very nice agent and she even asked me why i called three times today...and fortunately she gave me the good news..i got scheduled on nov 10.. So u guys, try to call now...so happy here

By the way, was it first time today that you called nvc to find about interview date after CC or you have tried earlier? Just want to have an idea when should I ask?

good thing you receive a case complete letter amna-h.

i was only told by the rep at NVC that my case was complete but havent receive a letter. the rep told me that they will send me a letter with regards to my case status. hopefully will get IL soon.

I will not recommend to stop calling NVC.. even though it is depressing but its the only way to know anything at all.

Hey guys.. sorry for being missing. Like u said.. i just stopped calling nvc because every time i got same answer and ending up being depressed. I was makin my husband call the senator office instead.

Well guyss.. i finally called nvc yesterday and found out my case has been completed!! The agent said it was completed on 22nd september. And i receieved an email of case completion today.

So i really dont knw if it happened on its own.. like it took 2 months and 14 days! Or it happened cuz of senators help. Last feedback we got from senators office was tht they hav put in an inquiry at NVC about our case on 18th sept. So it could be.. and you should try to contact ur local state senator..it wouldnt hurt to try

Not yet. Hopefully you shall be getting it done soon. Atleast u knw u have a new scan date. I am not told anything. It has been forwarded to the supervisors review but no outcome as yet

I am really sorry for you as I know how much it hurts because I am going through the same situation even though my priority date is coming pretty close and this whole NVC process is very confusing, what I noticed in this whole process is one small mistake makes your case go into the dark L this morning I called the NVC and luckily the CR is very good person and directed me to the supervisor and the supervisor said that she is going to send an email to the document review team to look into my case but I am still feeling so nervous.

I feel that the only option is to be very calm & quiet and pray to the God. Time is not in favor of us so be gentle to CR and literally beg the Supervisor to look into the case that’s all we can do my friend.

Hi, yes you are right that a small mistake can delay things..but in my case.. theres nothing that would cause a delay. I ask everytime if something is wrong with my docs or have i missed on something (which i know i did not) and the nvc agent says that everything is looking fine, just your ds260 form needs to be reviewed. So, from my end everything is clear. The mess is happening from their end and all they can say is tht they cant do anything! Even though it frustrates me, i never lose my cool because I just cant spoil it any further. Even i got a very nice CR last night, she tried to connect me to a supervisor but no one was available to talk at the moment. I used to call once a week but now i will be callin twice or thrice. This isnt fair :'(

And dont worry, your case will be complete before ur PD becomes current! Just keep calling them, and whtever was missing in ur file, just send it asap and then call nvc to confirm once they receive it. All the very best!

ok so i called nvc. The agent said my case is not complete. she acknowledged that its been too long since i submitted ds260 and typically case is complete in a month. And she added that their hands are tied, they cant do anything..infact the supervisor cant do anything either :/
So i was like??? what am I suppose to do then if no one cant do anything! I am just frustrated because there is no reason for this delay. website is working fine, i have paid all fees, i hav all my docs and forms submitted correctly, my pd is current! I have waited 2 months even then i dont get to hav my case completed. Why the heck does nvc want to keep my file with them..when they could just simply send it over to my embassy and get over with ONE case out of the pool of gazillion cases. I fail to understand NVC's logic :/

Can you tell me, how did u find out about ur case completion? Did u find out on the fone with NVC, or you received an email or had 3 N/As on ur ceac portal?

Im trying NVC since yesterday, and its constantly busy! It has never been that bad ever! So I sent them an email. Dont know if they even check it :/

Dear don't panic.we waited years its just couple if more months. I'm also stuck at my baby birth certificate in Mexico and passport which actually delayed my case...my baby is nt added yet.Everything will happen when Allah's will.There is something we don't know but He Almighty knows.Do not loss heart.keep praying.please sister it is hard for me too but I believe it's good for me thts why it is nt happening sooner.you Are going to miss ur family so spend time with them when you will not think about it it will happen with the blink of eyes inshAllah...

And yeah you are absolutely right. I have all my hopes engaged and praying constantly. It shall happen when Allah wills definitely. Trying my best whtever is in my hands though.

Finally after a long wait our case has been completed as of Sep 8.........new scan date was Aug 18...now waiting for IL.....

I am actually scared to do that. The waiting time is 60 days, that is what 'they' say but usually it goes up to 70 to 75 days according to the experiences ive read here on VJ. However, this is my option and I will just see this week..plus also depends on the visa bulletin for october.

its so bad and frustrating.

P.S i am seeking senators help. Emailed and faxed about our situation. Dont have alot of hope but thought it would be worth a try

Yes, i believe you should have waited for their official checklist email, or you should have waited a day and called nvc again to ask. But anyway, since you have sent the docs, and now hav a new scan date..its okay just wait for the alloted time. I really hope u get cc as soon as ur docs are reviewed

Unfortunately that didnt happen with me i am current but they didnt close and complete my case! i havent called nvc again since the last time. i log into the ceac portal, hoping to find the 3 N/A there..it still shows paid and completed. No email in my inbox from NVC. its so frustrating. I have asked my husband to seek senators help. They are just delaying my case for NO REASON. There is no prob with my supporting docs. And when i received checklist..it was ONLY about IV fees which was not paid due to their website issues. Which is a proof that my case is all good and complete.
I am current. I have waited so long for this but still facing unnecessary delays for nothing :'(

Although I'm not in the same category and don't have this PD, I thought I would reply since I'm in the same situation as you!

I submitted my DS-260 on July 8th because of all the technical problems that had been happening and have yet to receive my CC. I see that other people who submitted around the same time and even later received their case completes and it's so disheartening. I call NVC about once a week asking for updates.

On August 10, they put me on supervisor review saying that it's been past the 30 days and they told me it shouldn't take the whole 42 days even though that's what they are supposed to say. I called again on August 25, and the NVC rep said that a supervisor had requested my documents and it shouldn't take much longer.

Yes there is one more person from Philippines here who submitted it on the same day and i believe they didnt get CC yet. But this is just the height of inefficiency.

Seriously, im close to an emotional breakdown. The entire process has been unfair. The website delay and now this. All of which is not my fault in any way. I just want to be with my husband, start a life and a career. Everything is on a halt in my life just cuz of NVC messing up with me.
I will just wait a few days. I will keep calling every week. And if this doesnt get solved by next week or so, i will go for the upgrade maybe.

I didnt ask for it. she told me she will do this. And i asked her will this hasten up things..and she said yes u will get a response sooner. I dunno wht to do now
