  1. Improper filing? What were you missing if you don't mind me asking?

My fiance was living in a dorm by the time we filled the petition. The mailing address was really long and we could not fit it in the field "Your mailing address" so we decided to attach a paper and write down the address as some folks on Vj suggested. When USCIS picked up our petition we got a WAC case number but they returned it back to us to refill , but when we submitted the petition again with the 797c notice , they changed our receipt number and gave us a SRC.

  2. I found this old pic on an old thread and it shows what the message says when you are being transferred from a service center to another one.

I will also upload the link of the old thread maybe some of people who have time can read the comments and Analise and teach us more about this procedure.

  3. Hmm...not transferring older cases such as mine to TSC would not reduce the average processing times - given that they do not seem to be speeding up processing of I-129Fs - if that is the goal. The backlog is after all still there.

We shall see. I have no issue with waiting, but I have an issue with having to wait 7 or 8 times (30 days vs 220 days CSC vs TSC) simply because we filed from a different state. We have paid the same fees and are being discriminated against due to location. The overarching goal should be to have roughly equal processing times at both centers - whatever they end up being and hopefully within the 5month published time frame.

I really hope I won't still be here 4 months from now waiting for my approval...though I very much fear this will be the case. Since I joined these boards, TSC filers could consider themselves lucky if they got an NOA-2 under 7 months with a steady increase in processing times whereas CSC files have decreased to less than a month on average. Again, laws of averages means there will be lucky filers who get there quickly and unlucky filers who have to wait way longer. Worst case I have seen is someone waiting 11 months for NOA-2 - a March 2014 filer who only just got out of the TSC hellhole. This cannot be fair when some CSC filers manage to get their visas inside 4 months.

Some of them that filled on the same date were lucky to be routed to CSC. its different from being routed and being transferred. We will wait and see, it probably takes time for them to do the transfer. I am sure they are not transferring new fillers from TSC to CSC, just some of them were lucky to be routed when they filled. When I first filled for 129f on December I got a WAC but then they returned my petition for improperly filling, when i sent it back again after a few days with the same receipt number they changed it to SRC and it said it was being routed to TSC. Just wait until next week and we will see that they will transfer some old cases.

  4. No, the skunkworks team is still together, still working on stuff. The problem we've encountered is that all of the people we've reached out to either have abandoned or cause or just have other "higher priority" stuff going on. Quite frankly we've run out of ideas to try. The last idea we came up with was to get the CSC folk to send us copies of their NOA1 and NOA2 data so that we could take it back to our federal reps to prove the time imbalance. I created a new thread asking the CSC filers for help and KD was going to process their replies. But to-date not one CSC filer has actually helped us by sending us that data.

So we're at a bit of an impasse WRT what to try next. Personally I'm just hoping that the next "normal processing times" update will move to somewhere around september 11th so that I can open a service request.

If you have any ideas for us to try please let us know.

I was the one trying to help you, then VJ banned me. They told me not to send them messages. I replied with a  . I was banned for 5 days. They will never be able to stop me from getting on VJ because I can use Proxies and create different accounts but i wanted to be polite and respect their decision. I blame VJ for scaring people. A few CSC folks on some threads they said that they will help us. However when they saw that VJ moderator marked our thread as spamming they changed their mind.

  5. I wouldn't put too much stock into the timelines here. It's a very small sample size, the percentage of people who actually fill it out are small, the number of active forum members is *really* small. I wouldn't really use it as anything but a VERY rough idea of what's happening.

I think I read somewhere that in 2014 USCIS got 11k 129fs. So if we do a little calculation like this: Lets say that for each month on Vj are 200fillers from TSC and 200 from CSC equal to 400*12=4800 petitions so lets multiply it again by 2 =9600 . I think that there are approximately 40% on VJ of the people who filled for 129f. It could be wrong by this is my opinion.

  6. I'm still bugging them, just not as much. I called in a favor from a federal judge in TX to see what he can do and if he can find out what's going on. It's my last ditch effort but he may know someone who can shed light since he's in administrative law. It may take a week to hear back but he's a nice guy and he knows I wouldn't ask for his time unless I really needed it.

Also got a random response from Sen. Nelson, he keeps inquiring eventhough I haven't asked and he keeps getting the same response, so at least he's on board and trying. I'll reach out to other people today again.

You are doing a great job. Probably you are the only one left who is trying to do something that will help all of us. I wish i could help you more

  7. USCIS just updated the site and somehow moved the date backwards from where it was as of end of November. It's now saying May 5, 2014.

How does that even make sense? Are they going out of order?

Idk where did you check, check this link https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processingTimesDisplay.do;jsessionid=abc6hQ6M6jKo_5dTpOIUu

and you will see that uscis updated their website on 11th Feb.

  8. You will have to resubmit.

It is possible they lost that attachment. Anyways is there a reason why you added a separate attachment for your address? I'm assuming because it wouldn't fit? Another option is to try to handwrite the address in the box so you don't have to use a supplement sheet.

I still have the attachment even after they returned my petition. I live in a dorm right now, and my address is so long and it didnt fit.

I tried to hand write but it didn't fit either.

    Thank you for your advice.

  9. Im no rocket scientist and not trying to come off as a smart ###...but you ask what should we do now?......

Return the information they asked for, its quite simple

If you read the post completely, you could have seen that I said "I included the address in a separate sheet and I wrote " See Attached" and then I attached the sheet on I-129f"

I gave them the address but they still said that I didn't include my address.

  10. Hi everyone

My fiance sent the I-129f on November 28th and they returned our petition.

In the Form I-797c it says:

The application/petition has not been fully completed. One or more of the following fields were not completed.

    - Your Address

I included the address in a separate sheet and I wrote " See Attached" and then I attached the sheet on I-129f

Also I included this on the cover letter

    Contents include:

    • Payment in the amount of $ 340
    • G-1145
    • I-129F
    • I-129F Supplement: Part 1, Question 2.a-2.i, Your Mailing Address
    • I-129F Supplement: Part 2, Question 34.a, explanation of meeting in person
    • G-325A and passport style photo (Petitioner)
    • G-325A and passport style photo (Beneficiary)
    • Copy of birth certificate (Petitioner)
    • Letter certifying intent to marry (Petitioner and Beneficiary)
    • Proof of having met in person in the past two years
    • Proof of ongoing relationship

    What should we do now
