Finallly..... A new visa has bee issued today....Good Luck Everybody!!
-
Hello Folks.....U.S Embassy confirmed the IV discrepancy and concluded that the reason the expiry date is 21 Jun 2015 because my wife's TB test has been expired on that date. This is not a excuse to issue an expired visa. I have already advised them 2 months ago with this issue, but they ignored my emails and never responded back. They asked her to re-do the entire medical check again and send it to them..which we did last week.
Embassy received the new medical check last Sunday and her status was changed from Issued to Administrative Processing again!!
We are waiting for the new visa to be issued any time...!!
Will keep you posted

Trust me...it took me a while to wake up from the shock. Yes, the expiry date is prior to issuance date. This is so missed up to the point that no one would even imagine that the U.S embassy is that careless. No to mention that the envelope they prepare for you has a front page with you IV data and has the same incorrect date.
What is driving me nuts is, they do not answer my emails since yesterday....and have all the time in the world to figure out they made a mistake.
Anyways folks.....to be continued...

Visa was collected yesterday from Delivery courier....and guess what.
IV Issuance Date: 22 Jul, 2015
IV Expiry Date: 21 Jun, 2015
Basically visa is expired. How could this happen?...why they issue an expired visa in the first place?....
Contacted the consular via email...but did not receive any response so far....will keep you updated

Thank you very much everyone. Quick question, where to track my wife's passport. I mean I need to find out when and how they will send her passport. Your help is highly appreciated. Thanks

Dear All..Finalyy this morning My wife's Visa has been .....ISSUED...yooohooo
After 6 months and 11 days of waiting....
Basically, I inquired about her status 3 days ago and they replied that she is still under AP. Then I requested her passport to be returned to her since AP will take more time. Guess What the following date they Issued the Visa...
I wish all the Best for all of you and will be following you to hearing the good news...

Congratulation to all .....That day has finally come for you guys. Wish you all the best. I'm sooooo happy for you

Darnell - Please note that I'm well aware of the Immigration System and AP steps. You guys have brought nothing new to my table by talking about Country of origin or waiting in a queue. I already know that. Hence, country of origin is no longer a factor as my company hired a VP from Denmark and he is stuck in AP for almost 4 months now...and guess what?? he was told that it might take one year!!
Lets focus on those who were in AP and got their visa recently.....
To be Continued....

Sorry to disappoint you guys. But my wife's creation date is August 30, 2013. I might be wrong, but I came across this fact long time ago and gave up on it. I hope that i'm wrong for the sake of every one. Let's keep brain storming.
On a second note, I just called the US Embassy in Cairo to inquire about the status of my wife's visa and the operator transferred me to the consular number which is an automated answering machine provides general info about scheduling for interviews and embassy address...etc
If you guys know someone who was in AP for a long time and came out of this black hole recently, to verify when he/she was placed in AP? & How long did he/she stayed?
I know someone how is currently in AP since Dec 03, 2014 with no updated since then. I also have a group of AP applicants ( 4 people) stuck in this black hole with my wife since January, 2015...
Finally, Everyday passes in our lives without our loved once in taken away from us.......
To be continued!

It has been 6 months by today. I have sent the consulate an email demanding to advise on my wife's visa status. If they kept ignoring my emails, I will be taking legal actions against them. I'm done with being patience and all this #######....
-
Will do. Anyone else with good news??
-
No update So far. On July 11th, 2015 it will be 6 months exactly for my wife to be placed under Administrative Processing. After that date I will send an email to the Embassy if they ignored my inquiry, I will be forced to pull her passport. This is just a waist of time...
-
No updates on my wife's case so far....Any one with any good news??????
-
Do you guys think the system glitch happened the past two weeks has anything to do with no updates on our cases???? going KOKO soon....I need and answer
-
I know this might sound crazy..But I will start sending emails EVERY DAY to the US Embassy inquiring about my wife's AP status. Almost 6 months of AP.....this is totally unacceptable..
-
Guys.....Any good news from any one???
-
consulate doesn't even answer my emails on any updates for my wife's visa status. It's like I'm talking to a ghost....
-
How does time line data help me figure out AP length? Did not get it!
-
156 Days and counting.....This is not fair!!
-
malenliam, Any update??
-
Alright folks...my wife's AP is reaching it's 150 days milestone with out any update or change in status. Any update from any one yet???????? Did any one receive his visa after long staying in AP?
-
Status is still showing "READY"...however, Status update date changed as follow:
May 12
May 19
May 25
Updates happened on it's own....no emails were sent to force them update her status...so I'm not sure what is happening ......
But, based on the embassy's website; it says that AP usually get done with in 5 months, and my wife's 5 month duration will be due on June 11, 2015. We are almost 11 days from that date.
Could these updates be a good sign? Because I'm going crazy, and will be soon with my speculations...

Any one got CEAC status recently changed to "ISSUED" after long staying in AP?
-
malenliam...My wife in AP since Jan 11, 2015. That doesn't mean everybody will face the same timeline. Its a case by case kind of thing...
Wife still under Administrative Processing...120 Days. I'm losing my mind
