My friend told me thaf putting my SSI income on the adjustment of status form that it would get my fiance denied. Well im not working right now because of condition that effects me to work in some work fields. My father is my sponser and my mom is self employed so the income for my household is my dads and the SSI. I am currently in school and will get a job that I will be able to work in eventually and so SSI wont be my income forever. If it will be an issue then i guess that I need a new plan.

I agree do as said according to USCIS. Also remember we are a community and what is said in the comments are supportive help not always valid. I personally just said what I did but by all means do what feels right. I have 2 friends whl have been through this process and had great results. I didn't always do as they did but I did follow all that was required.

On the guid it says 5. No you dont have to add as many as I did but it was reassuring to me atleast that I had so much supporting evidence I say the more the better.

Yes, it is very needed you need to send in all items. I made an easy checklist for my self if you want it please message me it helped me orginize everything I needed to add to my package I had over 50 forms of proof from flight tickets to messages and conversations. They ask for 5 pictures I added about 12 just to be sure.

Follow all steps for the k1/k2 visas I -129f . Have sufficient proof for everything especially for moms custody of child if your fiance was once married include divorce papers as well.

It actually doesn't sound that hard:

1. Do visa application (print confirmation)

2. Make an account to for VAC

3.Pay for visa at the banco popular (keep recipt)

4.Go to VAC (finger prints and photos)

5.Make appointment for consulate interview

Some where in between step 5 and 6 get your medical way ahead ( I would say 1-2 weeks to be safe)

6.GO TO INTERVIEW ON TIME WITH ALL NESSICARY ITEMS!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

Wow that's so risky. A friend of mine did theirs a week in advance it was still a day late. I would at least do it a 8 days before.

I also just paper clipped mine. Now im all in suspense. I dont think it should be an issue though.
