got my case number today ! yay ! they sent me an email, didn't even have to call them. They made a mistake in our last name so we sent an email about that.

That's awesome! I should call today and see if there's any news about my case number...I just HATE calling!

If you weren't required to file, you would so state (i.e. "not required to file" is what you would write).

I've searched for this answer, but I'm lost and stressed. Can anyone help me with the AOS? I'm so afraid of a checklist...I haven't filed taxes for the past 3 years but don't know what to put in the income lines. I've seen where people say put 0, 0.00 or didn't file...I've also seen where people that have put those answers have got a checklist! So has anyone been approved recently (or been checklisted ) that can shed some light!

If you ever want to test your patience just call the NVC...I am not a fan of being on hold for an hour!

Anyway...still no case number, but they did say it arrived to the NVC December 18...I'll try again the end of the week or next week I suppose

Hi all. I had a NOA2 from CSC on Nov 24th and called this morning to news that my case has been received!!! (18 days)

They might have sent a batch from CSC so if you haven't heard maybe give them a call. Hope it's good news for others as well GOOD LUCK!

They quoted me 30 days to get a case # which seems pretty on par for what others on VJ are experiencing.

I called today to see if California Service center had sent to NVC yet and she says I need to allow up to 5 weeks. Still hoping for the best but seems its gonna be test of my patience

I have a question for you all getting these three week NOA2's. Are you all living in the US? Or is your spouse living here? I do not understand the discrepancy between the CSC, and the other service center's.

What service center were you sent to?

Hi. I sent my I-130 on november 24,214. I still haven't received anything yet. I'm praying that they don't find any errors or anything missing because I prepared the forms all by myself with no attorney. The only thing I did is use the advice provided by this website. Thank you all for ur help.

How long did it take for you guys to get your NOA1? My mom sent my forms for me Monday...(of course there was Veterans Day to take into consideration)...she never asked for a tracking number so I'm not sure where it is. I hate waiting and not having any sort of tracking!

How many are living abroad? I'm living in Hinduras...I filed through the Chicago lock box...I had to send everything to my mom first so she could write a check for me(I don't keep my checkbook in Honduras with me as I've never had use for it)

Hi guys, I'm sending my I-130 in today! Thanks @Kels2487 for directing me over here!

My husband and I are living in Honduras...praying everything goes smoothly and we can move to the States next year! We've been married a year and a half, have a baby girl and would love for him to meet the rest of my friends and family...only a handful were able to come down for the wedding.

This month I'll be sending in my I-130 for my husband...ready to get this process going! And praying it doesn't drag out too long!
