  1. This is so crazy!!!!!!! No other state takes so long for the interview. If I had known I would have NEVER filed in Texas, I would have moved to a different state just to get my green card. If they are short of employees and are overwhelmed, wouldn't be common sense to hire more employees and not make us wait for so long time?????

Its really crazy, waiting 10months is crazy.. I thought of the same thing but I thought I would only take like 7 months, this wait time is really hard, is the dallas field office getting lazy or what? God help us.

  2. I have a quick question and I would appreciate any contribution that will come from you guys.

I filed for adjustment of status last year and got my greencard last year. After a month or 2, I decided to track my receipt number for my i-130 and I found out that the sent a mail that was never received. They said it was the i-130 approval notice and not getting the mail would cause a serious problem regarding my case. I have called them severally to resend it but its taking more than 3 months. I just want to know what the approval is all about and how important it is since I have my green card already.

    Thanks

  3. Hello all, I would love a very good advise on what to do. I had my greencard for approximately 2 years and I filed for my removal of conditions but to my surprise, I just got an extension for one year versus the ten years I read on forums.

I want to know if someone has had such an experience. I am just worried and would like to know if I did anything wrong.

    Thanks

  4. I am wondering if there is anyone who filed late 2014/2015 in Dallas.

I would like us to meet up and talk about the estimated interview times.

I really feel that the Dallas office takes too long.

    Here is my timeline.

    November 12, AOS packet sent

November 17, Notice of Action Received

    December 11, Biometrics appointment

    February 5, EAD received

Nothing has changed since I received my EAD

  5. Hello all,

I've been looking for a forum where I could at least interact with November filers, I'm so glad I found this today at least it helps to be courageous.

I filed for my AOS around Nov 16th.

I received my NOA 4 days letter.

Went for the biometrics appointment on the 10th of December.

I haven't received any other update, I just want to be sure if everything is on track..

Has anyone who filed around that period received an update?

:) I'm really excited to be here.

  6. I have been in and out of the USA for about 4 times. This time, I fell in love with a girl and we decided to get married. 2 weeks after our marriage, a girl I dated one time while I visited the U.S contacted my wife facebook telling her that she just had a baby for me. My wife told me what she had found out and to be frank, I never knew she had my baby. I asked my wife if that was going to be a problem; she said it wasn’t going to be. I told her that I will try to go and do a DNA test to see if the child is really mine and she okayed it.

4 weeks into our marriage we filed for adjustment of status then as soon as I got my Notice of Action and Biometric invitation, she said she wouldn’t go ahead with the marriage anymore.

Friends, as I’m typing this post, I do not have a place to stay (I actually paid the rent), I do not have the car we bought and I do not have my wife. My wife says she would call the immigration and tell them we got married under false pretense. it's a pity that she doesn't understand how much I love her.

I don’t know what to do, I missed my Biometric invitation today that’s because I don’t know if that would complicate issues for me.

I really need your advises and your help.

Let me know what to do
