My parents visa were ready for pick-up on the 4th business day after the "Issued" date which is also their Interview date.
If you have yours delivered, it will be within 7-10 business days. Most got theirs sooner though.
Thank you! I am just estimating the time when will I receive it since my husband wants to get a ticket already. He's so excited. Thanks again

Well, you can always check people's timeline to get a "general" idea of how long it took other people. But as what other said, and other will chime in...each is a unique case and the timeline will vary.
And for my case, it took 8 days after interview for my CEAC status to changed into ISSUED and the visa packet was delivered after 2 days. Plus if you ask the CO and releasing folks, they will tell you that 2 weeks is the ballpark IF all your papers are okay. Goodluck!
Thanks! I just had my interview this morning and got approved. When I checked the ceac after, it says ISSUED. Does that mean I can expect it to be delivered this week? Thanks!

No one knows. Just be patient and keep checking the CEAC and USTRAVELDOCS tracking.
Thank you

There are many, many, many (did I mention many?) threads on this forum asking the exact same question. The answer is always the same. It varies.
My fiancee's interview was Feb 12th. There was no status change until February 25th where the status changed from Ready to Administrative Processing (8 business days). I am hoping it gets issued by the end of next week, but it may not... Patience is the key at this stage.
Oww okay. I thought there is an average timeline for that. Thanks and God bless

Hi All. I was wondering if how long will it take from the interview date at Manila US Embassy to receiving the visa packet? Thanks!
-
It is my understanding that they do not look through the chat logs or at least very closely at them ...however, I did read a post from a gentleman who was apparently denied a visa based on something in his chat although the embassy did not specifically say that they kept his chat logs. If I was going to use chat logs as evidence, I would pick out a page every two-three months..clearly mark the date and personally translate, then turn those in.
We do most of our chatting via Facebook. So I just took a screen shot of the window that shows how many "Older Messages" we had to load.
If you feel like it will help you case, bring/turn in your chats in their entirety....one of the more experienced posters on this forum, states over and over...chat logs are not good evidence and evidence of actual time with your beneficiary is the most important.

Translations of such items are not required.
Thank you

Hi All, for all who had their interviews or who are knowledgeable with this, do we need to translate all the letters and chats sent by my husband to me? Or is it okay to bring them just to show that we were exchanging letters and as proof of communication with each other? Thanks!

Congratulations!
What was your scan date?

December 11 scan dates, Shinie has said on the other forum that they have got case complete so maybe check yours and see
Still no changes with my case at the ceac website. Maybe we'll try to call NVC tomorrow to ask for an update. Thanks for informing us
-
Congrats!!!
I am happy for you. out last scan date : Dec 11, 2014. I thought that we gonna be lucky and get our CC too, but unfortunately we got a checklist from NVC, So that's mean another 60 days for us. Waiting for 60 days feels like waiting for a lifetime. I hope you will get your interview date as soon as possible and reunite with your loved one.
Did you received an email from NVC regarding the checklist? My scan date is dec 11 also but when we called yesterday they told us they are still reviewing it. Hopefully they'll finish reviewing our case today.

I have a December 11th scan date, I'm hoping they get to it near February 11th!

Is the scan date the date when NVC received the AOS and IV docs? Thanks!

You can but not advised. One you don;t know when you will get case complete. Then you are waiting for interview. The expiry time starts when you have medical which doing this months in advance narrows your time to leave. It's best to wait,
Unless you think you may have to do a sputum or have issues. Then maybe starting now ahead of time might be smart also.
I'm a bit worried regarding that sputum though the last timeI had my xray for our annual physical exam, my xray was good.

I heard medical test is needed before interview. I still have to submit required documents to USEM -JAPAN which will be released hopefully on the 9th but I am planning to take the medical tests on the 6th. Just an advance preparation for the interview
Yes before the interview we should have our medical exams. However, I am still waiting for my case complete at NVC meaning still awaiting for NVC's approval and I still don't have a schedule for interview.
-
Hi All, is it okay to have my medical even before having a case complete? Thanks!
-
It varies/depends on each case. I got the checklist after they reviewed our case for more than 60 days (approx. 70 days). After the items were sent based on the checklist, I got an email saying that they will process for 60 days. (that's another 60 days!) . Good luck!!
Hoping and praying that we won't have a checklist. Thank you
48 days for my case. Good luck!
Thanks! Gives me hope
-
Thanks for your replies! I was hoping it won't take that long

Does the NVC maximize the 60 days review period as per the email they send us? Thank you!
