I have a question should i file an expediate my husbands father is in a nursing home and the doctors have told him there is nothing else they can do for him he's had three seizures and he can not care for himself at all he and his mom go everyday to feed and help bathe him. But now his mom is going to have knee surgery and he has to take care of her but he also needs to go with his dad and keep a full time job to sustain his and his mothers home and mine and our childrens home here in Mexico is this a good enough reason he needs me to go over ther so I can care for his mother after her surgery.

How long is the waiver process take i just sent in my i601 last week and i see people from october still havent gotten approved is it really taking 8 monthes or is just certain cases

i have a question my pd is may 22 almost close my ds260 was filed october 20 my lawyer has had the documents ready since then but when i call nvc they tell me they have not recieved any mail shouldnt they have the mail in order to get case complete i have no idea why she hasnt sent in the documents . my question is shouldnt she have sent in the papers or do u do that after ur priority date is current

I have a question my sister is a u.s citizen by birth and she had an apointment with a lawyer today and she said she can not give my dad residency because she was born in the u.s with illegal parent so that disqualifias her my dad had a voluntary desçparture back in 2009 and he has been living out of the country ever since and from what i understand is she is a U.S citizen and should be able to give him residency and the judge also told him that when his daughter turned 21 she could file for him but my lawyer tells her no that the only thing he could get residency is by marriage im so confused is this right or should i see a another lawyer

I will be hiring a lawyer to file the i601 but i didn't know wether to hire her before the interview or after so hiring her before the interview to get it ready before we have the interview seems better how long is this process

Does anyone know why the mexico priority date is different then the rest of the world It didn't move at all this month

Really people with priority dates in june getting notices I havent received anything yet but those are good signs I hope that this year moves faster

Hi I was looking for a forum with f2a priority dates in the year 2014 couldnt find one so I thought I'd make this so we can all know whos is getting the nvc process started

Lets hope theres good news the next bulletin my pd is may 2014 so it looks like I still have a while to go but seeing it move every month makes my excited and hopeful that I wont have such a long wait like the 2013 filers

My priority dates is may 19 2014 is there any chance it will become current this year

i got my case number assigned january 9 and havent heard anything from my lawyer shouldnt she be taking the next step she hasnt aked him for anything i think this is odd since everyone is already sending in douments

finally i got my case number assigned by phone at the nvc on the 9 of january and i tried to give them my email address but they said they couldnt add it because my case number was barely generated they told me to call back in a few days whats next how long until they send me the bill or anything by mail

my case was also revieved dec 1 and i just called and they said there taking 60 days to assign case numbers

i finally spoke to the nvc they said my case was recieved December 1 and to wait 3 weeks to call back again and get my case number and i called in spanish i only waited 15 min for them to answer should i wait 3 weeks or should i keep calling everyweek
