There is no need to go to the embassy first. All she need to do is take a copy of the interview letter and go to one of the hospitals in the list. They will then conduct the medical and will tell her what she needs to do. If you don't have the list of the medical centers, i can send you the link.

You can email the interview letter to your mom and she can print it out to take it to medical appointment. Also the medical does not have to be done 4 weeks prior. You still have time. If you dont wanna wait for the ups to arrive, just go ahead and email the interview letter to your mom and have them print it. You can also use your tracking # and check on ups website to see where the package is.

Hi Dwheels76. wali1001 from Ethiopia have received his interview letter today for Nov 16. Can you update the spreadsheet. It actually conforms the theory that NVC does not schedule interviews based upon CC dates(atleast for Ethiopia). He has a CC date of August 1 and got scheduled for Nov. Few of us from April and May CC dates are still waiting. He also said he did not request for an expedite.

Congratulations to all the Jordan peeps who been waiting since May, June and July for dates. some as long as 164 days for an interview. OMG. Congrats. NVC is on a roll today.

I think Ethiopia is forgotten. There are a lot of us waiting with April,May and June CC. Hopefully we get the good news soon.

Well Egypt start calling NVC CC 6/4 reporting they got a date of November 1. Looks like many embassies really getting caught up.

Now for Jordan, Ethiopia, Algeria.

My case was completed 5 days after yours on April 23rd but I have not heard anything yet about the interview. Other countries started November scheduling today and hopefully Ethiopia will be one of them.

My case was completed on April 17, 2015. Still today no interview date assigned...166 days counted. I was at US -Addis embassy last week to clarify hold ups, after repeatedly un-answered emails & FB messages with the consulate. No clear answer! I was told as they are conducting interviews everyday. They also told me they have no access to my case since its at NVC level. Nowhere to go except waiting game. Any advice the way to go?

They told me they are waiting for the embassy to send them the interview slots. They have been saying that for the last four months..

What does NVC say when you ask them has your country started scheduling yet?

That's good news for Jordan. But they are not the only country left. Ethiopia is also waiting. Almost five months since CC.

I did see good news on Facebook about Jordan that they were opening up 100 slots for Immigration Visa interviews for October. So looks like they will be making alot of folks happy soon as scheduling starts for them.

So hang on Jordan. You are the only country left.

Got the confirmation from NVC. It is CC. Waiting for the interview letter to come. The nice lady couldn't tell me how long will that take. Super excited! !!!. Thanks everyone for the support! !!!

It's been more than three months since I received the email but interview has not been scheduled yet. Everytime I call them, all they tell me is to wait untill they contact me and they are waiting for the embassy to send them interview slots. It's very frustrating to wait for more than three months after case is completed.

I received the same letter In July. NVC seem to send this letter to let you know that they're still working on your case in getting to you to next step in the processing to your spouse to the USA.

Dear Sir/Madam,

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

hey! when I go to the Ethiopia portal it seems like there are a lot of Ethiopians going through the process but not so active on the threads, which is fine! no one really knows when interviews are being set for Ethiopia and how long everyone is waiting, so I wanted a place to discuss timelines and interviews if that's ok! if you are waiting on interviews for Ethiopia or have gotten an interview would love to hear from you! it doesn't matter what visa type you have either just wanted a place for us to come and discuss everything.
