Hi,

 I received today an email stating there was an action taken on my case.  I checked my USCIS account , and found out that My interview was scheduled for  December 15.

The weird thing is that is a Saturday, so I hope its not a mistake

Today I received an email stating that they have taken an action on my case, I checked my  USCIS account and Surprise : New Card  is Being Produced.

My status was always stuck on Case was received at my local office since February 26 until last week when I got an email saying that the last time they took action on my case was August 11.

I sort of agree, they do their best with the constraints they have. its not their fault the system is so tedious. as humans they are really nice, i can't imagine myself dealing with irate customers all day long especially in matter as crucial as matter or life or death. nice callout ShivaniVivek

They are not...They work really hard and as fast as possible without any federal money to support..If they were as you say...then millions would not have been immigrate to the US till now...You need them..they dont need you..!!!

I worked in a call center for few years, for an insurance company, we kind of had the same system as the NVC, there was a department working on costumers cases and we were only answering phones, we used to get calls non stop , some complaints,some insults some nice people too. I still remember telling a custumer , you will get the document by email in few days, and he was like: what? you going to deliver it your self I guess ?hhhhhhh Its hard to believe that an email takes few days but since we were working with a batch processing, the email is automated and its programmed to be sent in batchs and it takes some time.

We were not allowed to explain why it takes too long or why their case is delayed. Everything was scripted, our answer was , you have to wait.

Sadely, As we get frustrated with this process, we tend to blame everyone, but,As you said, its not their fault that the system is tedious.

My SD is May 8, and I check the website at least three times a day, waiting for those 3 N/As!

I just saw the Magical 3rd NA

My story: The NVC did not invoice the IV fee as fast as we expected, so my documents were reviewed before paying the fee, as a result we got a checklist. After calling , they said that we have to wait for the ds260 to be reviewed to get a case complete.

So we submitted it on april 1st and we have been waiting since then.

we called monday, and the rep put our case in supervisor review. Today, I found 3NA.

Guys let me tell you NVC reviewed my documentos in 9 days yes 9. Which was not good to me cuz at the time they reviewed it I had not ds-260 available on CEAC yet. I filled out my ds-260 on April 29th as soon as it was able. So thats why they sent me a fake checklist on May 7th. So that,´s why I did not get case complete in 9 days

Gonna call everyday until day review my ds-260. Hope they review it before May 20th so I can have my interview on July.

Todays is been 10 days since I filled my ds-260, Do u think they review it before May 20th? how long have they taken to review only ur ds-260??

the rep confirmed that the fee was paid and said that the ds260 has to be reviewed before the case is closed but did not want to give any time frame .

Its been a week now, we will call today, I ll keep u updated.

Its really frustrating.

I was looking for you! I remember someone getting a checklist for IV payment but couldn't remember who. Did they say how long will that take? Is it possible to ask them to escalate this to a supervisor?

I see that we are in the same boat.

I got a checklist for not paying the IV fee, when we called the NVC, they just said to wait for the ds260 to be reviewed

Oh god, my worst fear has come true, called NVC and asked if my case has been reviewed, they said yes and that I have to pay IV fee. I just got my Agent of Choice reviewed by agent and waiting for IV fee to be invoiced. Does anyone know If I have to wait again full 45 days for a review after submitting the IV fee?

42 days is for invoicing the iv bill, if they had invoiced it earalier , we would have had a case complete by now.

What is your scan date? I paid on monday and it still show in process too. You said that the rep told you it takes 42 days to process the IV fee?

That sucks.. I too received a checklist. I would call NVC tomorrow and ask to have your case escalated.

NVC kept saying wait 42 days for IV bill invoice,

Lesson learned: call them every single day to get it done

It already shows paid since tuesday night, We will call them and see , I hope that it wont take that long

Oh my gosh! That is so disappointing. Im so sorry.... Will it take another "60 day review" or will you get a CC once it shows paid? any idea?

This is definitly a case complete, call NVC to confirm, I saw some people getting case complete with the same scan date as yours

No that will not delay your case. Reviewing of the documents is a separate process from paying the fees and filling out the DS-260 form.

Yeap you can....photocopies are acceptable by NVC

I have a question if you can help me please:

my wife did the translations of the documents in morocco, since NVC is accepting photocopies, can we send photocopies of the translations too. ( instead of waiting for the document via mail, she can just scan them and send them by email so I can print them)
