thank you. I ask because my wife knows a Filipina who just got 3 of her kids all approved at once, and she's currently in her 2nd or 3rd week of waiting for their VISA, wondering if it has to do with having 3 kids approved (2 of which are adults and 1 child).

hi there, my wife's son (age 11) finally got an interview scheduled for next month June 26 (his priority date was September 2019). Assuming he is approved on that day, how long does it typically take for the consulate to grant him the VISA and update his passport so he can travel to the US? Thank you.

Ok, I'm assuming this is very good news. As I mentioned in the original post, my stepson's priority date is: Sept. 30, 2019. The December 2023 bulletin showed Feb. 8, 2019. Now looking at the upcoming Jan. 2024 bulletin is shows Nov. 1, 2019. Does that mean he should receive an interview appointment any day now or at least sometime in January? I sure hope so! If we don't hear anything soon, I'm thinking we should contact the NVC ASAP. Any advice would be appreciated. If my step-son's case priority date is Sept. 30, 2019, how do I interpret what the bulletin says, and approximately how much longer could we be waiting for an interview to be scheduled?
