Thank you all

Good morning All,
There is light at the end of the tunnel; We just have to be patient.
At the end of my AOS interview I did not receive an approval or denial, just a paper saying that they were holding my case for file review and to allow them 60 days.
But, God is good. I received my green card on Saturday.
Don't lose your faith, everything will be fine. Because only God knows what we have gone through.
Again, Sandra, without your help this wouldn't be possible. A selfless, dedicated and a great human being. I have no words to thank you enough.
For all of you still waiting there is hope.
God bless!

DL28,
Thanks for kind words. God helped me to go through very difficult times. And I know that today is not a different day, He is still with us, my friend.
People here have said that some immigration officers don't make the same day decisions because the are new = trainees. They need need a supervisor review before they can approve you. Maybe your officer was just a newbie and you will get your decision very soon.
Skazzka,
I had a really long and very complicated immigration case. I've been through immigration court process, seen 2 different immigration judges and 3 different government attorney's. But as you can see I am still alive, even though I feel like I will not survive another immigration battle. Like in the old Chinese saying: Temptation to quit will be greatest just before you are about to succeed.
Good luck to all of you. Stay strong and keep remembering that Jesus is with us.
Thank you Dodgertown for your words of encouragement.
Thank you Oti and Skazzka!

Dodgertown,
I am so sorry you had that experience on your AOS Interview!
I had my interview last week, and I was handed the same sheet. The officer marked "your case is being held for file review, and that I should be receiving a decision within 60 days". She did not make any questions about the abuse. She did ask me my husband's full name, place of birth and date of birth.
Although my interview lasted for less than 15 minutes, she asked me where I was living when I renewed my U.S. Visa. She wanted the exact address. It was surprising for me to see that she had my DS-160 (visa application) printed out and checked the address I gave her, when I answered her question.
I am going to include you in my prayers.
D.

Oh really? I didn't know.
I assumed that is still at the NBC because I haven't received any other update after the "Transferred to Another Office" message.

Hello Sandra, my AOS has been at the NBC for 4 months now. Is there anything I can do to have it shipped to my local office in NY?
Thanks in advance! DL
-
Hi Amika! no, not yet.

Good morning All!
First of all, congratulations on the recent AOS approvals! It is wonderful to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
My AOS has been at the NBC for 4 months now. Is this OK, or is it anything I can do to have it shipped to my local office (NY)?

Oh Ok, Thanks!
My VAWA was approved on 03/25. Afterwards, I submitted my i-485 and i-765 which were received on 04/15 at Vermont.

Im sorry to repost this, but I am a bit confused.
I just got this email. (Maybe it has been explained before) But what does it mean?
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Your Case Status: Initial Review
On May 4, 2015, we transferred your Form I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, Receipt Number EACXXXXXXXXXX, to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case.
Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up, Sandra. I just filed for divorce on mid March.

Hi Angel66,
For both "RFE response was received" and "Case was approved" I received email notification.
I hope you get your approval really soon!
DL28.

Hello All!
I received RFE on Jan 21st 2015.I asked Sandra's help; which she gave me even when she was sick in bed, she still went above and beyond to help me. I know for sure that my case wasn't going to be approved without Sandra's help.
Yesterday, one month after my RFE response submission my case was APPROVED!
I want to thank Sandra because without her it wasn't going to be possible. Praise the Lord!
For those who are still waiting there is hope! We all will see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Here is my timeline:
10/07/2014: VAWA submitted
01/21/2015: RFE
02/25/2015: RFE response
03/25/2015: VAWA approval

Good morning All!
Has anyone experienced not receiving e-notification of acceptance/receipt? My application was received at VSC on Oct 7th.
Have a great day!

Thank you, Sandra.

Hello All,
My i-360 was received at VSC on October 7th, 2014. How long does it usually take to receive the receipt number?
Thanks!
